Northfield, Cottage Apartment

Karen IrinnaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

Absolutely beautiful caravan. Spacious and so accommodating and a stunning view!
A decorative wall sign features three stacked wooden panels in shades of blue. The top panel reads 'Welcome,' the middle panel says 'To Our Home,' and the bottom panel states 'By The Sea.' Simple illustrations of birds and a house enhance the welcoming theme.

Northfield, Garden Apartment (3 bedroom)

HamedRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I booked this property at short notice and the reason was because I saw that it had a good location and also a pool for my children to play in the water and that since I had a short time, I saw this as a good space, but the only thing is that the pool cannot be used in cold weather.... But in terms of being large, clean and tidy and having amenities, it is a very suitable place, just because I wanted to go to Edinburgh, which was an hour away. Most importantly, the owner was very kind and polite. He also lived in the property next door and was a very nice person. When we returned, our cat was lost in the garden and he helped us find it with great kindness and patience. I am extremely grateful to him, I recommend that you travel there for rest and accommodation.
The kitchen features modern cabinetry in a sleek gray finish, equipped with stainless steel appliances, including an oven, gas stove, and refrigerator. A washing machine is also present, along with a countertop providing ample preparation space. Natural light enters through a window, enhancing the functionality.

Northfield, Garden Apartment (2 bedroom)

MairiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Booked Northfield as a base close to family as well as attending events in the central belt. House was perfect for our family, clean, tidy and lovely big outdoor space. Little added extras such as the loaf of bread, milk, butter and shortbread was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend and have already passed on to my relatives abroad who may wish to visit the area in the future as an ideal base.

SavithaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Scots place was beautiful. Lots to do inside and outside. Kids had lot of fun as there were toys scooter and bike. There was colouring books and pens card games kids did not get enough time as we only booked for one night. Scott was kind and he extended our check out. Kids made the most out of it. Not far away from Edinburgh castle which was our holiday plans to explore Edinburgh city. Clean kitchen and toilet and shower. We had everything we needed in the caravan. Thanks Scott for making the one night stay comfortable. You are a star

Tranquil Retreat in the City/Free parking/Wifi

EmmaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This was a great place to stay. It suited our needs (family get together for a wedding) very well. Di was very helpful from the beginning - always getting back to any questions very quickly. The accommodation was fabulous - comfortable, modern, very clean and well equipped, and well located for visiting the main city sights. We would certainly come back again if visiting Edinburgh in the future.

Unwind with fabulous views in the Scottish Borders

We spent the weekend in Scotland with friends, board games, murder mystery and lovely food. The airbnb was perfect for what we needed! We left the weekend with sun burn!! There is a lovely 7k walk behind the property which I would recommend. We also went to Pebbles to use the park to play rounders which I would recommend also. Fantastic and would recommend!

Kingsburgh Lodge Murryfield, close to city centre

GarryRating, 5 starstoday
A lovely property close to great transport links but never noisy. Absolutely fantastic for Murrayfield stadium which was our primary reason for visiting. The property was clean and well furnished with good quality fittings and fixtures. The property was just inside a quiet road and was well serviced by bus stops nearby which were a short (10 minutes) from the centre of Edinburgh. All in all a great location for our long weekend. The owner introduced themselves and made us welcome with easy instructions. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Edinburgh or attend an event at Murrayfield.

3 bedroom House with lovely garden in Edinburgh.

JoRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Usman is wonderful, very responsive. The house was clean and generally comfortable. The kitchen was equipped, but some of the cookware (like the frying pan) was quite old and had many scratches — it could use an update. I can’t comment on the location in terms of walking or public transport since I drove everywhere, but it worked well for my needs. Recommended

Shiel House, Rumbling Bridge

TeddRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Shiel House was an absolutely stunning and massive property. We visited as a large group of 8 on a golf trip, and this was the perfect Airbnb. It was beyond spacious, with all the amenities a large group would need for a week long stay. The location was great for us with popular golfing destinations like St Andrews and Gleneagles within driving distance, as well as a litany of local courses. We also were within driving distance of Edinburgh with plenty of fine dining options. Tim was a very gracious and helpful host who provided clear instructions on locating the property, as well as a fun treasure hunt that takes you around the property and to local spots. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the property and the host!!

A House on the Hill: Highfield farm cottage (4+1)

MelanieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!
