Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Tekapo

we stayed at Liz and Gary’s place for 2 nights. it’s an awesome place to live with beautiful views and your own private space. the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need - all the spices, and even butter and eggs. there was also a bottle of complimentary wine, fruits, chocolate, and salmon! you can also see stars through the skylight on a clear night. it was a real delight. thank you for having us!

I had a wonderful overnight stay at Kay's little slice of paradise. The highlight was stargazing from the wood fired hot tub. I would love to have stayed for longer, I will keep this place on my list for next time.

Great place to rest, peaceful and quiet. We had a great time stargazing just outside of the hut, very thoughtful to provide a place for stargazing 👌🏻. Very generous on the wifi with great internet access in the hut. We saw 3 small rabbits running around the hut, Its very cute. Will definitely come back.

Twizel was seemingly just a small stop in a 2.5 week NZ vacation, but Jana’s cabin made it truly unforgettable! It’s so lovely to have such a large and warm space when visiting a new town. Close to town center and walking distance from the beautiful Twizel River reserve. Thank you for making our time in Twizel so special! ♥️

the photos of this place do not do it justice! a stunning little getaway and David and Toni were the most hospitable hosts. all of the extra touches made our stay extra special. the outdoor baths, the clear skies, the nice treats and super cosy comfy bed, absolutely bliss

It was an amazing stay!! The views were everything. Saw the sunset and woke up to a beautiful sunrise too. Loved the skylights in the room too. Everything was exceptional and we loved each and every second we spent there! Totally worth it 🥰

This is a once in a lifetime experience. The views are un matched. It can be difficult to get to but its more then worth it, just have to read the instructions and take it slow. I never felt more at peace, the cabin is gorgeous and the scenery is even better. I would go back in a heart beat. 11/10 you have to go here. Worth every penny

Great little spot where you feel like you’re literally in a different world, spacious for a small space.

Kenny’s Steeple Peak Cabin was the perfect base for our first overseas adventure as a family of four, and we’re sure we’ve made memories to last a lifetime. The cabin was spotles, everything was super clean and presented even better than the photos. The attention to detail really made it feel like a home away from home. Our boys absolutely loved being surrounded by the mountains and exploring the rugged landscape. It was such a joy to watch them thrive in the wild, open space. Kenny was an incredible host, so responsive and helpful with directions, local tips, and thoughtful suggestions that really enhanced our stay. Thank you, Kenny, for such a warm welcome and for creating such a special place. We’ll always look back on this trip with full hearts. If the photos haven't convinced you yet. Just book it, you will not be disappointed!

Quiet, cozy spot. Kitchen had the basics but items were worn down. Host was quick to respond to questions we had during our stay.

房间建造的非常好，各种设施因有尽有，有洗衣机、洗碗机、各种各样的厨具、地暖、空调、壁炉等，为我们提供了非常方便的服务。房子面对牧场，白天可以看到马和羊，非常安静，房东很贴心的把Twizel的地图和附近的设施放在了桌面上，还有各种各样的餐厅，总而言之，小屋有很多优点。但是，也有一些缺点，因为小屋是新建造的原因，感觉能源的分配不太合理，第一天进入小屋的时候因为有地暖非常暖和，但后面因为太阳能耗尽，第二天住的时候没有地暖，好在小屋的保温效果还不错，除此之外，第二天入住时我们在洗澡的时候发现热水供应不足，到我同伴洗澡的时候变成了冰水，第二天依旧如此，五月份的新西兰还是很冷的，联系了房东后他派电工查看了情况，但是我们要离开了，还是希望房东可以尽早解决这个问题，保证以后的房客体验顺畅！但总的来说，优点多于缺点，还是非常值得入住的，小屋有两个房间，目测至少能住3-4个人，人均也才三四百块钱，性价比很高，房东也很热情❤️
