Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Rabun

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. Plenty of room for my family of five to spread out and relax and such a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed to just relax and spend time there. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. My sons loved fishing in the lake and we all enjoyed sitting around to bonfire at night. It was wonderful. Next time we will stay for longer!

This was our family's second stay at Blue Heron Haven and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house is well-stocked, clean, comfortable, and the location is perfect. It's a great location for swimming on the lake. Becky answered all of our questions and is always helpful and responsive.

We had a lovely stay in Lauren's home. You feel like you're living in the Brady Bunch house! Classic 1960s everything. The beds and seating were all very comfortable, and we enjoyed the abundant decks, the hammock, the kayak, the TV... the kitchen had everything you could want, and we appreciated the extra bag of ice and cans of sparkling water they left for us. We highly recommend it. If you're more noise-sensitive, we recommend the downstairs bedroom, which is insulated from the noisier/brighter open layout of the upstairs.

10/10 would go back. We had a great time. So sweet to leave a present when we got there. Plenty of things to do around the place. Beautiful area, wild life, and so close to the lake. We had such a blast and we're even able to do laundry before we left. They had EVERYTHING we needed. Loved the fire pit and the dock on the lake. We will for sure be back. Such a beautiful home and place. We enjoyed the stay! The pool was by far our favorite just wish we had better weather to enjoy it further. Great customer service. We accidentally set the fire alarm off one night and she didn’t hesitate to message to make sure everything was okay.

House was stunning and very comfortable. The backyard is an oasis of tranquility. There was plenty of space for our adult family. We had dinner in the screened in porch every night and played games around the kitchen table. The lake water was really clean and had movement in it. The dock has lots of shade on the bottom and full sun on top. I can’t say enough about it. I highly recommend!!!

Private serene place with plenty of room to spread out. Comfortable beds and all the amenities you can think of! Very happy!

We absolutely loved our stay! What an amazing location. We spent time on the pontoon boat, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, grilling, and chilling. We will definitely be back.

William was an outstanding host, not only in the house and check-in instructions, but also having the house feel warm and welcoming to our us and our friends. They had snacks and cookies waiting for us even! The house and pool were gorgeous with great views of the lake and we couldn’t think of a better place to spend our vacation. There was plenty of space for us to relax and ample accommodations for me and our guests. Thank you, William, for such a great experience!

AMAZING! Christine’s place is an absolute gem and she is an absolutely amazing host. Everything was as planned and even more. Great lake community, really peaceful with a 2 min walk to beach area. House was perfect size and spotless. This is a great spot and Christine is super helpful and responsive. Also was surprised how short of a drive it was from all the things you could need, restaurants, stores, etc. and best of all real close to Clemson!

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

We loved the DiNardo’s place. It fit our family perfectly and had the lake right there and a hot tub too. We loved hanging out on the deck by the fireplace. And used the kayaks. We rented a boat at Nottely Marina and picked up everyone at the house. We weren’t originally going to bring our dogs, but decided to and we’re glad we did. They went on hikes with us, could go to the winery, and went in the boat too! We didn’t eat out a lot. Mainly cooked in. The Walmart and Ingles were close for groceries. The grill was good and is hooked up to a natural gas line. There is also a green egg which we did not use. The wrap around deck was perfect for the dogs and would be great for little kids too. Hope to be back again!

What an amazing stay! The lake house is so unique, and there is so much to do without even having to leave. It has three separate levels with a room and bathroom on each. The upstairs has a jacuzzi tub overlooking the beautiful lake. The morning fog on the lake from the third floor is magical. The bottom floor is the perfect place to hang out with your entire family, as there is ping-pong, darts, pool, and board games. We had an absolute blast and would book again. I can't imagine how much fun it would be in the summer with warmer weather and the lake. Everything was spotless and immaculate, and the location was extremely safe and close to everything you needed. Host was excellent. Highly recommend!

Do yourself a favor and bring your own pillows! Other than that, it’s a great vacation location and experience!

Our family was fortunate enough to stay at Marissa’s lovely Lake Escape to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Clemson. It was a beautiful way to enjoy being together. We loved Marissa’s beautiful lake house. It reminded us of our family cabin in upstate New York. Thank you very much Marissa for opening up your lovely home to the Giebelhaus House.💜🧡💜🧡

My family loved our stay at Wilstone! The home is lovely and pristine, with a warm and inviting family lodge feel. And the view is amazing! My teenage children enjoyed the downstairs rooms with private bathrooms and we all had fun playing pool. It was a fantastic set up for us! We’ve already agreed we want to go back!

Jane’s house had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Highly recommend it and would stay again!

Our host was so kind and for that I am so thankful! The home and property are beautiful. The kitchen is way better equipped than any other place I’ve stayed (at least 10 different ones) which is awesome if you love to cook like me and are there cooking a holiday feast! Y’all, no place will feel perfect because no other place is your own home but this place comes close. Ildi’s responsiveness and kindness are the icing on the cake. We had a simple and pleasant experience here at the lake house and that’s all that we prayed for.

The home was exactly as described and the hosts were extremely responsive. The dock was our favorite part - it had a great view and was super comfortable. Also, the basement with foosball and ping pong was a great place to hang out. We will be back again soon!

Kristy was very nice and responsive. The house was absolutely beautiful and clean. The living room/patio scenery were stunning. We couldn’t get enough of the jacuzzi (tv outside was a plus). Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Morganton/Blue ridge area, whether you want a quiet getaway or a close spot to the lake/beach.

Perfect home for a lake vacation! Tracey was wonderful in making sure we had everything we needed as well as places to eat or visit! The house was very clean and had everything you could need! Can’t wait to go back!
