The check in is through the back door which requires you to go through an alley. If you feel uncomfortable at times, just request a spare front door key instead of using the keypad. Location is good enough for those who need to visit JHU for a short term. Security is present around at night so you should be fine. The hosts responsiveness and understanding stood out the most in my opinion. They were able to help out and understanding in many ways.

Me and my girlfriend love this place. They got everything we want. Full of detail make people feel comfort
