Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lagos

Our stay at Jose’s home was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm and inviting space with breathtaking views that made it hard to leave. Jose went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience—installing safety features for the kid, providing pool toys that kept our son entertained for hours, and always checking in to see if we needed anything. His thoughtful recommendations made exploring the area even more special. The flexibility of early check-in and late check-out was a wonderful bonus. We truly didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return soon. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in Helen’s spacious house. There are 3 bathrooms which made our stay so comfortable with a 3 generation family. The pool has sun in the morning till early evening and we could eat outside which was very enjoyable. Helen was so responsive and helpful and Luis drove us to the local supermarket as our arrival was late. It’s a bit of a walk to town but we were keen to explore the way in town and the harbour. Can only recommend.

Nice place in a peaceful neighborhood, which makes it perfect base to explore Algarve. The place is spacious. Kitchen has everything you might need. The hosts were responsive and there is nothing to complain. Thank you.

Our stay with Warren was absolutely lovely! Everything matched the description perfectly and even exceeded our expectations. The Airbnb was clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom and an extra toilet in the utility room, which was very convenient. The location is ideal – just 10-15 minutes to get to Lagos, yet the area was quiet. The outdoor area was a highlight; we used it a lot and had complete privacy. We also never had any issues finding a parking spot nearby. Warren was a fantastic host, very friendly, and communication was always quick and easy. We highly recommend staying here!

This place really is a home away from home! The kitchen was great for preparing our meals and there was room to spread out in the house. The outdoor spaces were excellent, too bad about the rainy weather, but not something a host can control!

Lagos was gorgeous and the apartment location was perfect for exploring. The heat/ac worked well and the apartment was exactly as described/pictured. Paulo was great about letting me know when the apartment was ready and gave very clear instructions for getting inside. I did have a hard time getting the door opened at first, human error on my part, and messaged Paulo who offered to be there in 10 minutes. Luckily I was able to figure it out but it was great knowing he was so close. I wish my stay had been longer! I will definitely be back!

It was beautiful with Paul and Anja Paul picked us up and left us in the apartment. They had a great welcome gift for us, wine and Portuguese Nadas. The apartment is tip top!!!!And 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms everything clean. Really everything there, like at home, for cooking. The balcony is Huge and Sunny Evening You can watch the moonrise The apartment is quiet, huge and comfortable. A 15-minute walk to the city Both were always available super nice and helpful can only recommend 1000 thanks again Best regards to Anja and Paul

Kirsten was a lovely host who met us at the accommodation when we arrived. Lovely, lovely house with everything we needed there. She was super helpful with beaches we could go to, and came immediately when we needed help with something. Thank you so much for a lovely stay! What a fantastic apartment! Truly a home from home! Eva and Michael are just lovely and are fabulous hosts. The outdoor barbecue was just brilliant- go to the fish market and grill some blue fin tuna - just lovely! Thank you !

All the previous reviews of Michael's apartment accurately reflect this excellent property. We have visited Lagos several times and we were absolutely delighted with the apartment. Communications with Michael were very helpful and responsive. Arrival and check in was well organised and easy. The location is perfect for access to the beach and a short pleasant walk to the main town with abundant bars and restaurants. The balcony overlooking the marina was a real highlight for us and we had a fantastic relaxing stay. Recommended without hesitation.

I can only confirm what many people wrote already: Lisa’s place has the original Airbnb spirit. It’s very personal, feels like a home away from home and has everything one would need for a vacation with the family. We especially loved the balcony overlooking all the hikers and the beach equipment/toys. Burgau is a true gem, great restaurants, not too crowded (early May) and man things to do around. We can recommend walking some parts of the fishermen’s trail to get stunning views of the Portuguese coast. Thank you Lisa for all your help, flexibility and friendliness throughout our stay. We hope to come back.

If I wrote a review as glowing as we feel about the stay a Victor's apartment you would probably think I was getting paid. We were there for two months and let me tell you it was fantastic. The pictures are accurate; it is a roomy, fully equipped, and well kept abode. It's close to the beach in a very walkable area. We worked with Victor's host for the property, Joana. She was always responsive, friendly, competent, helpful, and thoughtful. For instance, in April 2025 when the power blackout occurred across mainland Portugal and Spain, Joana contacted us immediately to check on our wellbeing and to see if we needed anything.

The most amazing place we’ve ever stayed. We travel as a family of 7 and use Airbnb regularly all over the world. This is the best presented, best location, so close to fun experiences, history, culture, beaches. We all loved it and wish we’d stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well thought out and stunningly decorated, with well curated art. It felt like home much more than the average Airbnb experience. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our holiday in this lovely villa. It had everything we needed for a month-long stay with our baby - we especially loved the BBQ and the heated pool! The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and some great hiking trails, and a quick drive to a few of the bigger supermarkets. We experienced some unusually bad weather and a massive storm which caused power outages in the area, but the management company was extremely helpful and responsive throughout. Overall a great place to stay and would highly recommend!

Villa Mirembe is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for complete relaxation. The swimming pool is beautiful and thankfully not heavily chlorinated. Luz is a short walk and has some lovely restaurants. We enjoyed delicious tapas at Boateys. We definitely plan on returning to the villa. When I commented that our flight was late evening on the last day Lee kindly extended our check out time. Many thanks 🙏

We loved the place! Everything was perfect! The house is spacious and every room has its own bathroom. The walking trails behind the house are also great to explore! We would love to come back one day! Perfect for families with kids!

We loved our stay at Jinny’s place; gorgeous, spacious house with all amenities. The nearby beach and villages are amazing as well. We would definitely recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at Stephen’s family villa. The villa was much more spacious than we expected with lots of entertaining and lounging areas inside and out. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped with everything we would need in terms of utensils. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a hamper of essentials so that we didn’t feel the need to rush to the nearest shops to stock up which made arrival much more relaxing and was much appreciated. We opted for the pool to be heated as it was early season and this made for a very fun time with our 2 and 4 year old swimming every day even when it was too windy on the beach to go in the sea. The location is protected from the wind and a real sun spot. The local area has a great local cafe for breakfast easy walking distance and another pool-side restaurant also walking distance with Balinese vibes. We were a short taxi to either Bergau beach which we loved, and Luz beach - great for kids. We definitely recommend! Thanks Stephen!

The house is a real gem and David a great host. We felt very welcome and were able to relax wonderfully. The furnishings of the house are tasteful and cozy, the beautifully planted courtyard with a small pool invites you to linger and everything radiates a pleasant tranquility. The beaches in the immediate vicinity are a dream and thanks to the good tips we also got our money's worth in culinary terms. All in all: 5 out of 5 stars! We will be happy to come back!

We have had a lovely week staying at this beautiful villa, with our 3 grown up children and their partners. We loved the pool, hot tub and lovely garden. The villa was spacious and had everything we needed. All communications with Margot were helpful and she always replied very quickly. We had a small issue on holiday which was dealt with immediately we contacted her, Would definitely love to return to this villa.
