Ingrid is the perfect host and the house is nice, cosy, clean and small but adequate. Baarn is very close to Utrecht and nice place to stay with good people

We loved our stay in Den Dolder. The cottage was perfect for the three of us and the layout afforded some nice privacy between the two bedrooms. The kitchen was very functional and the living room a cozy spot to read or watch a movie. Monique provided lots of information about the area which we benefited from. The surrounding area is beautiful. Wonderful walks and biking trails. It should be noted that it is a 20 minute walk to the train station and closest grocery (Monique graciously picked us up and dropped us off at the train station as we were not traveling with a car- much appreciated) If traveling without a car- would recommend renting bikes for trips to grocery store, restaurants, etc. There is a service that will deliver the bikes, Monique has information about them.

We adored Maria’s cozy nook in this precious small town amidst a beautiful Netherland forest and only a half hour from Amsterdam. She and her husband were so friendly and her dog Charlie was sweet and darling to spend time with. We loved spending the whole day in the city and then coming back to this oasis, taking peaceful evening walks and enjoying the sounds of songbirds in the morning. I highly recommend this space and hope to stay again!
