Really a very nice accommodation and well located in one of the last villages of the peninsula.🌸 Super well equipped too and a big plus for the air conditioning! With super convenient self-check-in but we didn't get a chance to meet our hosts! I would 100% recommend!

We enjoyed the accommodation very much and would book it again at any time. Both the place and the car were as described and we felt at home. Milady always responded quickly and reliably to messages. The takeover and use of the car went smoothly and is more than cheap compared to the rental car prices. The location is very good, two supermarkets are within walking distance. Likewise, dining options. Especially for surfers, the accommodation makes sense, as very good surfing beaches are less than 5 minutes away. For those who want to take surf lessons, we can recommend Taata Tumu surf school (Insta: taatatumusurfschool, Google Maps: tahiti locasurf) The surf school is also located in Papenoo. For this purpose, we had booked the services of the driver for both arrival and departure. Highly recommended, worked smoothly and other options are more expensive.

Villa Maui is an incredible Airbnb experience. The entire property is beautiful and perfectly placed on Tahiti Iti. If we could have stayed for more than one night, I would have been more than happy to! The indoor area is perfect for a couple and has everything you need. But the outdoor space is where this property truly shines. There's the bathtub that faces the sunset, the covered lounge area with a cozy couch, and a dining area...all with a great view of the ocean and the private beach you have access to across the street! We checked out the private beach but didn't use the kayaks or go swimming (we had bad weather), but again, if we stayed longer, I would have been more than happy to explore those options. Lastly, Kawehi was a fantastic host - they checked in with us as time for check-in got closer and made sure we were comfortable upon arrival. Overall, one of the better Airbnb experiences I have had!

We had a great time at the place. Clean and well-equipped for a long or short stay. The self-check-in went very well!
