Located between La Pine and Crescent in a very quiet and private neighborhood. The property sits on two acres and is easily accessible by a paved road. A fire pit is available for use (wood supplied). Come enjoy all Central Oregon has to offer: hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, skiing, you name it! I also have some recreational gear available for use! Please contact me to discuss pets. Being a pet lover, I am likely in favor of them joining with a few agreed upon guidelines.
“This was a short visit, but a nice little get away during Covid-19. It was good to get away from all of the everyday work life. We got to see our grandkids who we hadn’t seen since Christmas! The pull out bed was perfect for the kids. Comfy couches and the bed in the bedroom was really comfortable. The house smelled good right away when we walked in and it was nice & sparkling clean. We will definitely be back.”
The Morrow River House is locates off of the 97 in La Pine Oregon. This newly remodeled home rests on the little Deschutes River tucked away in the trees. The property is great for lounging around while taking in the views, floating down the river, soaking up the sun, or having a fire outside with friends. It’s a split level duplex, so there are tenants on the bottom floor, but you have complete privacy, and over an acre of land to enjoy.
“We really enjoyed our stay at Sean's place. It had everything we needed. The place catered to our dog; she felt right at home! The bed was comfortable. Always lots of hot water. The location worked well for us. We drove up to Bend for shopping, and continued along the scenic Cascade Lakes drive. On another day we saw the sights and hiked at the Newbury National Volcanic Monument. We would also recommend seeing the Salt Creek Falls. We hiked from there up to Vivian Lake. Unfortunately the weather was too cool for us to tube down the river; something we can try on our next visit!”
Rustic log interior with red and cream coloring and plaid accents. Warm lighted cabin, cozy fireplace.
“The little cabin in the woods is a little piece of heaven on earth! My fiancé and I found this place on our hunt for peace and quiet, and we could not have found a better hideaway! We arrived to twinkling lights and a blazing fire. The space is small but is more than enough! Kitchenette had everything we needed for a couple of breakfasts and dinners - mini fridge, microwave, stovetop & oven (didn’t use oven), toaster, coffee/tea maker plus bowls, pots, pans, dishes and silverware! We were pleasantly surprised. We LOVED the open loft! Full bathtub/shower, and shampoo/conditioner just in case you forget yours. Sitting area to relax and read by the open balcony door. The bed was SO comfortable! Must have had a memory foam topper. Bedroom balcony with staircase was an awesome cherry on the cake for us! Books, movies, and games (combined with the vast surrounding wilderness) kept us more than entertained for a long weekend. We already can’t wait to plan a second “retreat”!”
