Vacation rentals with a fireplace in La Pieve

In the many years I've been doing Airbnb, I've never been more welcome than here. Very warm hosts who took the time to explain everything to us with patience, despite our approximate English. They multiplied the little touches that made us really happy, so it felt like home. It's very nice. They also gave us lots of recommendations for tours and restaurants. Nothing to complain about, it was perfect!

We had a wonderful time at Marina's beautiful house! The children all absolutely loved the pool, and we have everything we needed in the house for living comfortably. The views are spectacular! And with Lucca only a short drive away we were spoiled for choice with things to do. Marina and Paulo were very friendly and helpful, with local recommendations and booking restaurants etc. It's definitely a holiday we'll remember and I would 100% recommend staying here! Grazie mille!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Patrizia‘s. The house and surroundings are so peaceful and quite. Patrizia was so welcoming and helpful with anything we needed as well as very knowledgeable about the area. We truly thank her for a wonderful Tuscan experience.

We had a lovely stay at Lorenza's place. It's a sweet little house tucked away in the most beautiful village. Lorenza's mother kindly checked us in and was very attentive, making sure we had enough firewood throughout our stay. We definitely had to keep the fire burning to stay warm in November (unless you want to pay a little extra for heating). We loved the house, the bakery a few doors down and of course lunch at Elena's restaurant!

The house is so nice, clean and cozy. Daniele gives us many helpful tips and place to go, very nice and proactive host.We enjoy our stay very much thanks to Daniele. The place is peaceful and easy to go anywhere, Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Cinque terra. Such a lovely house , highly recommend for family trip👍🏼

Absolutely brilliant place to stay. We came to catch the November truffle festival. Close enough to town for a 15 min walk, but far enough to enjoy the scenery and the hills. We stayed for a week and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The villa is so tastefully decorated with interesting paintings and whimsical items both contemporary and ancient. The house is bathed in natural sunlight. Lorenzo is a wonderful host and his cleaning lady is equally gracious. The property is absolutely spotless, the kitchens are fully equipped, and the beds are so comfortable. Very quiet. There is a small garden that my son just loved traipsing around, smelling the rosemary, oregano and picking random olives. Lorenzo also had a guide book that he had created, and it provided some excellent suggestions in terms of itineraries. Lastly there was one really sweet outdoor cat that we loved seeing daily. Highly recommend staying here!

Staying with Betty and Roby exceeded our expectations – the little cottage in the mountains is beautiful and lovingly decorated, we felt at home. Betty and Roby are super friendly hosts and brought us freshly baked delicious rolls and cakes every morning. The surroundings are fantastic. The location of the accommodation is a great starting point for hikes in the Apuan Alps, but the sea is also only about half an hour away by car. Even in bad weather, the fireplace gave us nice cozy days. We will be happy to come back!

We felt well taken care of at all times. From the smooth and flexible check-in to the stay and checkout, everything went perfectly. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and quiet—just as described. Since the weather was bad, we couldn't fully enjoy the outdoor area, but we can definitely say the house itself is a great place to stay :) There’s so much to do in the area—from hiking, art, and bustling city life to beaches and culture—all within a short drive! The location is great just a short walk from the train station and buses. Every room was so clean. I just stayed one night and defenetly will be back to the same place in future. Just the check in at 4pm is the latest I ever had so we had to pay at the Station to hold our bags to be able to go to the Tower of Pisa witbout carry them so It is an extra cost, However If I come back I will stay in this place again 👍

One of the most beautiful Airbnbs I've had the fortune to stay at - spotlessly clean, soft linens, comfortable mattress, nice shower, great lighting, coffee maker and electric kettle, attention to detail was so notable and Silvia was a responsive and kind host through messages/texts. The loft is in a small town for which you need a car, and parking can be difficult to find if you return too late at night, but that is all very clear in the description - it's not a 'con', just worth noting as you plan the heavenly getaway time here! I would feel lucky to stay here again if I'm back in the area!

Laura’s place is lovely, we had a brilliant time. Would definitely recommend. Very responsive host. And the pie was delicious!

Amazing location in Lucca. Walked so quickly to the walls. Apartment had all we needed. Beautiful outdoor terrace and lots of fresh air through the windows. Don’t spend much time at the apartment itself which should be typical as there is so much to do and see in the area. Would recommend.

We absolutely loved our time here. The Airbnb was exactly as described and Mirko & Marino are such kind and helpful hosts. From the detailed instructions on how to get to the place to the parking & restaurant recommendations in all towns in the neighbourhood, everything was so well taken care off by them and we had the best time disconnecting in the middle of nature. We’d love to come back!

This is a fantastic, light-filled, and spacious apartment in Lucca. Marie did a great job with the renovations. She has also kept the furnishing minimal but very comfortable. We were traveling as a group of four, and the space was perfect for us. The location is ideal, close to everything, and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. Even the neighbours are friendly! I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The stay in Il Castellare was a very positive and absolutely recommended experience! The apartment is perfect, equipped with every comfort, clean, very well heated and cozy. You can also light the fireplace with wood at your complete disposal. Gianna was very hospitable and kind, she also provided us with directions to places to dine that we really appreciated. The apartment is part of a farmhouse in a beautiful location, with a precious view and immersed in the peace of authentic nature. We arrived at night, with the full moon lighting up the street and we had no problem reaching the destination. Thank you Gianna!

Had a very nice stay with Sara, her husband and in-laws. Sweet, helpful people, beautiful garden and a large, clean house. Only very small downside: the house is located on a busy road and you can hear it quite well. We were out and about a lot and haven't been bothered by it.

Staying in this fantastic property is probably one of the most memorable experiences we ever had on our trips Roberto is a great host, very friendly, super responsive and eager to suggest places to visit and fine tune your itinerary on every way. The repurposed old church feels homely, offering a very elegant old charm luxury living experience. Every detail is carefully attended, in terms of amenities, design and ambience. The two rooms (mezzanines) are,very spacious with en-suite marble bathrooms. Bonus experience, the top mezzanine bathroom leads to the bell tower, where you can actually ring the bell! On the ground floor we enjoyed dining by the fireplace, in the sound of vintage vinyl records spinning on the turntable. The kitchen is very well equipped, we cooked several times. At the outdoor area we had breakfast in the back alley and enjoyed reading our books in the sun in the front alley. A short hike at the property’s olive grove, you can enjoy panoramic views of Pistoia.

I visited here with my wife and 3 young children. This is the perfect place for a family break and my favourite Airbnb I’ve stayed in to date. Stefania is an amazing host and is very passionate about making her guests feel welcome. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need during our stay, including getting us a relocation at an amazing local restaurant (Osteria di Valgiano). The villa is in a beautiful location that is close to lots of attractions and has some great running / walking routes near by that give you lovely views of Lucca. The villa has a large private garden with olive trees, swimming pool and a shaded seated area where you can BBQ and eat. We created some amazing memories here as a family and will definitely visit again in the future. It gets booked up far in advance for a very good reason.

Olga's Le Maggioline is the perfect accommodation for families traveling to Florence and its surroundings. It has spacious rooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a yard, terraces, and lovely dogs, making it ideal for a family of eight, including children. The beautiful views from the terraces and room windows offer the ultimate relaxation and healing experience during your trip. Despite the sudden cold weather in early October, thanks to the thoughtful care of our host, Olga, we stayed warm and comfortable throughout our visit. The basic amenities were well-stocked, and the warm welcome gift from the host was truly touching. :) There are also many delicious restaurants nearby, and since it's a hot spring area, we'd love to make a longer reservation next time to fully enjoy the region. We used this place as a base to travel to Lucca, Pisa, and Florence, and found it to be in a very convenient location for exploring all these destinations.We are incredibly grateful to Olga!:)

This villa up in the mountains is easily one of the best that my family and I have stayed at. There are amazing views of the village of Buti in the valley below and Tuscan landscape further out and hiking trails surround the area. The house and grounds are impeccably decorated and maintained. Though the building looked 100+ years old, it felt very modern and comfortable for city dwellers like us. Melissa, the lady that helped us check-in/check-out, was very friendly and delivered the wife's left-behind wallet to us after we checked out.

We really had an amazing stay! The location is ideal and peaceful, a real haven of peace in the middle of the Tuscany countryside. The pool is beautiful, with great views. The accommodation is very charming, very functional and very clean! Eugenia is welcoming, extremely kind, available while being discreet, and with good advice. This was our first airbnb experience and we leave Eugenia with stars in her eyes... Many thanks Eugenia, we will be back, and we will highly recommend you! A pronto!

This villa is nothing short of stunning. The layout is well thought out and the grounds are absolutely divine. The hosts are extremely helpful and responsive throughout. We traveled with two babies under 2, and when I tell you this house is completely soundproof... We couldn't hear a single thing. Slept amazingly throughout the week! The only negative is there was a bit of a stink bug infestation, but going to Tuscany in October will raise those risks! The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful in ensuring they were taken care of by sending a cleaning crew. Would stay here again! A couple things to note: -The house is very remote and requires a drive up a mountain to get to. The smaller your car rental, the better. There are some sharp switchbacks and narrow roads, but the hosts will show you the way. -Have euro for the cleaning fee, as they do not have bank apps -If you have any questions at all or need any help, dont hesitate to reach out to the hosts, they are very helpful!
