With this Ibiza-style home near Amsterdam, you can enjoy your vacation in a quiet and green park. That's why only guests over 25 years of age are allowed to book. Via our jetty, you can immediately swim in the Loosdrechtse water and with our sloop (which can be booked for €100 incl. Gasoline can be booked per day) to sail to the lakes and visit a restaurant. Or have a BBQ on our covered terrace with Weber BBQ and cozy lighting. Close by are forests and heath where dogs can run free with cozy restaurants.

Our aluminum sloop with lounge cushions incl. gasoline can be booked separately for €100 per day. No sailing license is required for this, and instructions for use are in the boat. Small cooler bags and plastic wine glasses and plastic glasses are ready, as well as a life jacket with handle for a medium-sized dog so that you can easily lift it out of the water.

It is a lovely cottage/place to relax in. Yoga on the wooden deck, enjoy the evening sun with a glass of wine or enjoy the sun with a book under the canopy.

The cottage is located in the Smalland vacation park. Next to the cottage, there are two parking spaces, and on the park grounds, there is also:
- parking space with electric charging option
- playground (1 minute from our cottage)
- Ping pong table (we have paddles and balls ready)
- football field (football is also available)
- Jeux de boulle court (balls are available in our cottage)
- At the cottage, we provide 2 bicycles (the bicycles are not really suitable for long distances, but for example for a ride to the nearest supermarket and restaurants). That is also easy to walk in 20 minutes.


In the neighborhood, there are interesting activities to do.
- Visit the Sypesteyn Castle with a large collection of Loosdrechts Porcelain
- Picnic in the beautifully landscaped castle garden
- Visit the estates in's Graveland
- (indoor) shopping and go to the market in Hilversum on Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Visit the hospitality industry with a terrace on the water in Loosdrecht. Closest restaurant is a 15-minute walk away.
- Walk on the Hoorneboegse heath and adjacent forests
- Watch the take-off and landing of planes from the terrace at Hilversum Airport
- In bad weather, there is the Avontuurfabriek with 50 indoor and outdoor activities such as bowling.
- In bad weather, Spelekids indoor activities for children
- Amsterdam is about 30 minutes away by car.

Loosdrecht has been a special place in the heart of the Netherlands for centuries. The village, located in the water-rich area between Amsterdam and Utrecht, originated in the Middle Ages. What makes the area truly unique are the famous Loosdrechtse Plassen – an impressive lake area that originated in the 16th and 17th centuries, when peat was intensively extracted here as fuel. The excavation of peat and the inflow of water created the current landscape with vast lakes, narrow fields and islands.
From the 19th century, Loosdrecht grew into a popular vacation destination. Rich Amsterdammers and artists and writers came here to enjoy peace, nature and water sports. In the 20th century, as many as 10 outdoor swimming pools were added.

That tradition still lives on. Nowadays, Loosdrecht is the place for sailing, boating, swimming or just relaxing by the water.
The combination of history, nature and recreation makes Loosdrecht a unique destination for young and old – and an ideal location for a stay in our vacation home at Smalland vacation park.

By boat, you sail past history and see the old fields where peat was laid and you see several old and new vacation homes.

It is a quiet park, so please keep it that way. ;) Music softly and between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. please turn off the music and talk softly. It's not a party venue. Only guests over the age of 25 are allowed to book.
