The Old Post Office was built around the turn of the 20th Century to serve the then bustling community of Wickham Market.
Recently updated to provide you with gorgeous boutique style accommodation, it retains its charming character boasting an Art Deco working open fire, sumptuous bed with crisp white linen, well equipped kitchen and a welcome pack of locally produced breakfast produce.
Wickham Market's village square, shops, cafes and restaurants are a hundred yards away.

The space
Firstly I want to emphasise how important cleanliness is to us, and want to assure you that we will have sanitised all surfaces prior to your arrival, giving you peace of mind to relax and enjoy your stay.
The Old Post office is a spacious, single storey, one bedroom property attached to our family home, but completely self contained with its own entrance and courtyard garden.
You enter into a small lobby which opens into the main living room.
There is a dining table and chairs, a sofa with footstool and an armchair where you can watch television and enjoy Netflix or play your playlist on the Bose. An original Art Deco open fire place is there for you to enjoy.
There is also a Victorian cupboard for putting your folded clothing in.
Leading off is a hallway with storage for suitcases.
The bedroom boasts a very comfortable king size bed, crisp white linen and hanging space.
The shower room has a walk in shower area with glass screen, loo and sink. Fluffy towels and dressing gowns are provided.
We have just fitted a new, gorgeous hand-made kitchen which is well equipped and has all the basics you'll need to get started and opens to a walled courtyard garden where you can sit and enjoy the fresh Suffolk air, and an evening BBQ.

Guest access
You access the property via our driveway.
You can pull up just outside the gate to unload, there is free parking a little further down the road.

Wickham Market is a quaint English country village a few minutes drive from Woodbridge Town and Frammlingham.
There are cafes, shops, restaurants all within a few minutes walk. A little further is a fantastic gastro Pub. It is a great location to reach nearby beaches and places of interest, such as Aldeburgh and Southwold, and for walking, cycling and golf.
We are also just a short drive from the amazing Sutton Hoo burial ground museum.
