Guest access
Guests are able to access any part of the resort they wish (this includes the lake, ocean or wherever they wish to go exploring!

Exceptions:
-not allowed to go directly to other cottages & invading their personal space since these are private areas occupied by other guests
-not allowed into the sauna area without a confirmed booked sauna time.

Section 2: Access for a fee [these extra services are NOT included as a part of the reservation price & can only be purchased via the host sending a money request to the guest for the extras via airbnb).

a) Firewood Bundle (20$)-note: we are not a factory that mass produces firewood therefore we cannot keep prices as low as supermarkets. Transporting, storing & delivering firewood all takes a significant amount of time so please respect what we have to charge for our time in order to keep our business running. You are more than welcome to please bring your own firewood :)

b) Washing & Drying of clothes for 1 load (30$)

c) Sauna (35$/hour)

By default, guests will receive the utmost amount of privacy, peace & quiet. If there is an emergency or matter deemed too important for communication via airbnb (ex: unable to enter cottage, hot tub issue or anything where you need immediate help etc), please message & also knock on the office door of the large house (with the red roof) & wait until someone opens it (NOTE: Because we cannot promise that someone will always be at this house, I would highly suggest setting up Wi-Fi calling on your smartphone before you arrive, so you can make calls using Wi-Fi for emergencies).

A peace and stillness exist in St. Esprit that everyone who visits can recognize & embrace. The population of St. Esprit has significantly decreased from the days where it was once a bustling area. It is now relatively isolated but that is what makes this area so special, & what allows guests to find the peace & quiet they are looking for. Located on the south coast of Cape Breton Island, there is significant Gulf Stream influence in comparison to other areas of Nova Scotia due to its easterly location next to the Atlantic coast. This results in a climate that features significant seasonal lag, with August being the warmest month of the year & February being the coldest..

There are no restaurants, shopping options, gas stations or grocery stores nearby in the area (nearest grocery store & restaurant is ~30 min away in St. Peter's; nearest gas station is about 25 min away in L'Ardoise but with limited hours; nearest shopping district is ~1 hr away in Sydney, NS)
