The small and charming property is located in a very central but pedestrian and quiet area of the beautiful Chora; it occupies the first floor of a traditional building, above the renowned Italian ice cream parlor "Lo Zio" and a few meters from taverns, bars and typical clubs. Bus stops and the start of the main paths to the beaches are a few minutes away on foot. The rooms, completely renovated in the spring of 2017, enrich the Cycladic style with an unmistakable Italian touch.

The space
The double room ( with two single beds appeared) is contained but equipped with everything you need to make guests' stay pleasant: air conditioning, LED light for reading, private bathroom with hairdryer, fridge , kettle (with the appropriate complement of coffee, tea and sugar), beach umbrella.
Barbara's Place offers guests a beautiful common panoramic terrace, where you can relax, listen to the birdsong, admire the nearby Orthodox chapel of Agia Katarina or enjoy the evocative landscape of the Chora.
The decor respects the cycladic tradition without forgetting the touch of Italian taste and quality. Also for linen I use only Italian 100% cotton strand from the 'stropicami' line (not in full respect of the environment).

Technical card: 15 sqm, 220 volt "suko" type outlets, air conditioning daikin, LED reading light, two single beds next to 90x190, electrical and plumbing system according to Cee

Neighborhood highlights

Folegandros has three inhabited centers: 1. Karavostasi (the island's port); 2. Ano Meria (the rural village in the hilly inland); 3. La Chora, the 'heart' or capital of the island. Dominated by the magical mass of Panagia Folegandrou (half of unforgettable sunset walks), Chora di Folegandros is a village overlooking the sea (about 300 meters above sea level), full of charm and suggestive corners. In the evening, it comes alive with its taverns and typical clubs, its colorful shops and the enchanting atmosphere of its alleys and squares. The Chora of Folegandros, with the incomparable beauty of its Kastro (the fortified district overlooking the cliff) is unanimously considered one of the most romantic, typical and best preserved of the Cyclades. Here you will find Barbara's Place, in a very central and quiet street of the center, just a breath away from the Kastro.
