Peaceful wildlife surrounds the home. Keep an eye out for Willow, our resident deer who often visits with her family, along with wild turkeys strolling through the grounds. All of this is just minutes from Big Bass Lake’s beaches, pools, trails, and boating.
The Location & Community
Big Bass Lake is a Gold Star private, family-friendly community known for its pristine lakes, scenic trails, and year-round recreation. For a small per-person fee, guests can access resort-style amenities including three lakes with beaches, boat and kayak rentals, fishing, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, kids’ splash pad, sport courts, playgrounds, and a restaurant. Whether you’re here to unwind or explore, it’s an ideal spot for nature and water lovers alike.
Amenity Passes & Fees
• Weekly Pass: $30 (non-holiday) / $50 (holiday week) per person
• Daily Pass: $8 weekday (non-holiday) / $10 weekend or holiday

Fully stocked with a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and all cooking essentials (pots/pans/utensils/salt & pepper). The home includes all linens/towels, washer/dryer, heating, air conditioning, hair dryer, iron/board, and basic supplies for convenience.
We include a pack ’n play for families, plus an exterior front yard facing security camera for safety.
Pets & Parking:
Accommodations include a dog bed and bowls for your furry friends. Ample free driveway parking is available (6 vehicles capacity).

The property places you minutes away from Big Bass Lake, Gouldsboro State Park, various resorts, water parks, premium shopping, and local breweries, ensuring your stay is filled with memorable adventures.
Check-In & Community Access
You’ll enjoy smooth, keyless entry with a digital keypad. To access the community, the HOA requires a guest list in advance. Once booked, I’ll send a quick form to collect names, vehicle info, and your dates — this allows the security gate to welcome you without delay. Everyone entering the community (including visitors) must be on the list, but changes are easy to make with my help.

Guest access
Guests have full, private access to the entire home with keyless entry via a digital keypad. Amenity passes for the Big Bass Lake community, including: beaches, pools, boating, sport courts, and seasonal activities like snow tubing, are available for purchase at designated community buildings depending on the season.
Other things to note
Whispering Acres is part of the private, gated Big Bass Lake community. After booking, I’ll send you a short form to share your group’s names, vehicle details, and dates — this allows the HOA to welcome you smoothly at the security gate. If you need to add or change guests later, just let me know before they arrive. Note: The HOA has a $15 processing fee for any changes to existing reservations.
Occupancy
* HOA limit: 9 adults.
* Children 3 and under aren’t counted toward the limit, so up to 12 total guests can stay.
A Few Reminders
* No smoking indoors. Evidence of indoor smoking may result in additional cleaning charges.
* Please follow hot tub care instructions to avoid extra cleaning fees.
* Starter supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, toiletries) are provided; guests replenish as needed.
* Firewood is not provided but is available nearby.
* Driveway parking for up to 6 vehicles; no street parking.
