Pear Tree Cabin is located in the quiet and peaceful hamlet of Ham in Somerset, sitting in the grounds of a seventeenth century thatched cottage on a quiet country lane surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Relax in the hot tub spa after a busy day or share a drink on the tree deck built into a 400 year old Oak tree. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the rain whilst sat in a rocking chair. Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.

The space
The exterior is a traditional cabin complete with wooden cladding, spacious veranda, festoon lighting, rocking chairs and hammocks. Built into a 400 year old Oak tree is our tree deck, perfect for enjoying a drink or brunch in amongst the branches. To the side is a patio area with a more Mediterranean atmosphere where you’ll find a hot tub spa, lush planting and sunken seating area. The interior has been carefully decorated with ambient lighting, hand selected local photography and woodland touches such as a silver birch natural wall and a beautiful forest mural. A fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals or simply make a morning coffee from the Nespresso coffee machine. The living area contains a comfy velvet sofa with large TV, books and board games as well as a chest of drawers for storage. In the bedroom you’ll find a comfy king size bed, full length mirror and hanging space for clothes. The bathroom has a large mixer shower with white subway tiling and a bespoke made mangle and copper pan sink.

Guest access
Guests can use the cabin area including veranda, tree deck and patio as well as the surrounding orchard and area under the large oak tree. There is guest parking located behind the cabin and guests can use a private bridge to cross the stream and leave the property by foot.
