Step into the charm of a Grade II listed Georgian fisherman’s cottage in Brixham’s vibrant harbour bowl. Walk to cosy pubs, seafront restaurants, shops and attractions. Inside, enjoy stylish décor, a harbour-view bedroom and peaceful courtyard garden for relaxing or dining alfresco. Perfect for romantic escapes or seaside breaks. Small pets welcome 🐾

Please note: access via traditional harbour steps, typical of this historic area, and may not suit guests with mobility issues.

The space
This beautiful Georgian cottage is set along a charming pedestrian pathway, reminiscent of a European street scene. Access is via around two dozen gentle steps. On-street parking is available just behind the property. The bathroom is located on the lower ground floor.

Please note: As a traditional harbour-side cottage built into the hillside, the stairs to the master bedroom are quite steep. It may not be suitable for elderly guests or those with limited mobility.

Guest access
Guests have entire private use of cottage and well planted private courtyard garden, with two outdoor tables and chairs.

Other things to note
The cottage is accessed by approximately 30 wide steps that meander up the harbour side. Guests must be able bodied to access. Drop off for suitcases etc is either at the base of Temperance Place or the top & parking can be found in the narrow surrounding streets - please note there are some much wider streets available with free street parking only a couple of lanes back from the cottage.

The cottage is directly situated in the harbour area. You simply walk down Temperance steps and you are at the harbour front, with all of its restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops on your doorstep. No need to get a taxi home after enjoying a bottle of wine with dinner, as everywhere is within walking distance!
