This is a bunk in a 4-bed shared room. Bunks are equipped w/ curtains, outlet, reading light, hooks & locker; bathrooms located down the hall. The West River House is a simple and affordable historic hotel in downtown Truckee - walking distance to bars, restaurants, and the river. It’s perfect for those looking to explore and relax without distractions. Although there is no TV, the free Wi-Fi is super fast.

Smoking and pets are not permitted.

The space
The West River House is a no-frills and affordable, boutique hotel in downtown Truckee. Always some form of lodging, the building was first built in the 1880's, burnt down in the early 1920's and then rebuilt in the late 1920's. We completely renovated it in 2016 to give it new life.

Check-in is all online prior to arrival. You will receive a code for the doors and instructions for parking.

Please note, there is no on-site parking; guests can park in the nearby public lot, a full kitchen and breakfast are not provided, though, this allows you to explore Truckee’s fantastic dining options.
