Beautiful place, lots of space and well located for amenities, transport while still feeling ‘local’. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Would stay again for sure.

Very satisfied with this homestay experience, Harry's house is so excellent, two floors above and below, the rest and leisure space is separated, equipped with projection and sound, and the lighting design in the house is also very cozy.The house itself is a very traditional Japanese house with a refined little yard, at the same time it is conveniently equipped with a very modern home appliance system. Harry is very nice, he came to the bus station to pick us up, and also recommended very authentic daily materials, and I will come to Kyoto again next time I come to Kyoto!

My friends and I really enjoyed staying at Sachi’s place. It was clean, in a good location, and nice. Sachi was incredibly easy to communicate with - she responded quickly and was an excellent host. When we had a problem come up, she was quick to assist us - she was very helpful and gracious.

My husband, baby and I had a wonderful stay at Aki’s place! It was spacious and felt like home. It was easy to get around to all the local attractions and has everything needed close by as well. We visited many of the restaurants Aki recommended and they were amazing! Thanks for such a great stay 😊

Have never stayed in an Airbnb this unique in architecture. It’s 2 beautiful houses joined by a lovely garden and a walkway. One over 100 years old, and absolutely stunning, and the other a modern one with all amenities. And top it all a wonderful host, so kind and communicative.

The room is very clean and tidy, suitable for friends to travel and stay together; it is a 10-minute walk from Karasuma Kujo subway station, but the location is safe and quiet; the host is warm and friendly and communicates promptly, it was a very good experience!

We had great and conviniet stay, our host was very responsive and helpful. The apartmetn is beautifully decorated and we loved the garden. thank you!

Great place to stay. Superb!

location was in a quiet neighborhood very close to several temples and shrines. 1-2 train stop to Inari Tori gates. seemed like a quick train ride to all the main attractions. train stops on JR and Keikan railwya is a 5 min walk. shops and restaurants by the station. the house was perfect for our family of five. two bedrooms upstairs, of which one bedroom with toilet. another bedroom downstairs. garden was a plus to give you a nice view in the morning. the house is a traditional Japanese home so you will not find the big dining table and chairs of the west. we came to Japan to experience the real Japan so if that is not what you are looking for, please look elsewhere.

Nice traditional Japanese house in a nice neighborhood. Host is very responsive. It took me sometime to get used to it. Once settled in, everything is easy and reasonable. The stairs to upstair bedrooms are very narrow. It may create issues for someone who has trouble walking.

Ume’s place was exactly what I was looking for: a place that’s close to kamogawa for my morning run, and a comfortable house with all the amenities and a kitchen for us to cook in. Another point is that there is one toilet on the second floor and one downstairs so it was perfect for my mother. She’s glad that she didn’t have to go downstairs for the loo in the middle of the night. The host May welcomed us at the house and chatted with us about her story, which was also quite nice for my mom to experience something unique to Airbnb compared to a hotel room.

This place is great. It’s large, has a balcony, a washing machine, and two bedrooms. What’s nice is that you are removed from the main crowded areas but you are still close. I liked it. Five stars.

We enjoyed our stay here! Great location right next to a popular ramen restaurant and close to the Kyoto station and bus stops. Beautiful home and great amenities! Karen was great with communication! 10/10 would recommend!

Great townhouse in a beautiful location! Very comfortable, extremely clean and well equipped and couldn’t have been more central to where you want to be. The stream in the back is serene and makes it just that much nicer.
