Monthly Rentals in Kumamoto

During our long stay here, Kotobukisou was a comfortable and cozy home for us. The space is very clean and aesthetically designed! It has many amenities needed for longer stays too (cooking utensils, washer and dryer). The location has beautiful lush mountain views and a river, and is very peaceful. Even without a car, it’s easy to get around as it’s a short bus ride (10 mins) from Kumamoto Station, and has many amenities nearby (7Eleven is just next door, and there is a Coop and Aeon 15 mins walk away). Do also check out the amazing cafes and restaurants nearby! There is also an amazing Inari shrine nearby called Takahashi Inari Shrine, we highly recommend visiting it when staying so close! The place was nice, clean and tidy; the area is quiet but it’s easy to commute to the main attractions. There is a fun item store close by and a big Trial supermarket in walkable distance which was great. The lockbox is not pull down to open, it’s a front swinging lockbox so keep that in mind when opening the door. The host is responsive, thank you for the stay!

The room is clean and well cleaned, everything is provided, and it is not inconvenient to bring only clothes and cosmetics.All the equipment was labeled, and it was easy to understand how to use it.It was also nice to be able to park in front of the entrance.There was Yume Mart nearby, and shopping was convenient.They are quick to respond, take care of everything, and are not 5 Star, but more than 6 Star hosts.Thank you so much.

Makiko was a very kind and welcoming and attentive host, and our family of four spent a short but unforgettable night here.The house is easy to find, and is only a 15-minute drive from the large shopping mall Sakuramachi.Makiko was very good in English and prepared a lot of drinks, snacks, and fresh bread, eggs for us in the house.The house was very clean and the garden was a pleasant surprise, like living in a park!Hope to stay again sometime!
