The Stables Parwich - Time for two

MartinRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Fabulously homely, supremely cosy, well appointed cottage located in the peaceful Derbyshire village of Parwich. Ideal location for walkers, hikers and like me, cyclists. Spotlessly clean and providing everything you need for your restful stay this is a wonderful base from which to explore the countryside of the Peak District. Alexandra is a wonderful, five star host who communicated quickly and effectively before and during the stay and went out of her way to be extra helpful (picking up some basic shopping I asked for given the shopping options within walking distance of the cottage are very limited). She also provided some additional welcome goodies and was extremely helpful during my stay. With the Sycamore Inn nearby (5 mins walk), which doubles as a small village store, you won't go hungry but book in advance as they are normally fully booked especially at weekends. I'm already plotting a return visit later this year. Highly highly recommended.

Spacious, Charming and cosy in picturesque Village

SueRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A wonderful place to stay - well situated for exploring all the Peak District has to offer. The house was all we were hoping it would be - cosy but plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 children., comfy beds all ensuite, and a perfect lounge/dining/kitchen area. All the little extras were much appreciated including toys for the children and a range of books and DVDs. There was even an electric vehicle charging unit. Libba was a super host, responding quickly when needed and very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Bag End a charming 1 bed stone holiday cottage

LesRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Ideal cosy cottage for 2 with the added bonus of an outdoor seating area. Just a 2 night stopover to attend a family christening but could have stayed longer. Very comfortable and a bottle of wine from the host was a nice touch. Easy parking space. Would happily stay here again. Handy for lots of local walks and a pub next door!

Rustic Barn Conversion Nestled in the Countryside

A beautiful, relaxing and peaceful place to spend a few days away. Mollie was available and responded very quick, giving us some much needed recommendations for places to visit during our stay. Lovely cottage with everything you need to feel at home, comfortable bed, WiFi available (very poor mobile signal due to remote location so this is very much needed!) and outdoor space was perfect for some quiet time. A lovely little pub a stone’s throw from the cottage was perfect to call in during early evening. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to escape a busy city life - we will certainly visit again.

The fact that this was our second time here speaks volumes. Superb place, ideal for a 'get away from it all' break. Host lives quite close and responds immediatley to any queries. No cellphone coverage but superfast wi-fi. Can't wait till next year.
