Beachfront vacation rentals in Kitty Hawk

Me and my 3 friends stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Eric was responsive and very respectful and reasonable. Would recommend and would go again!

Very secluded and peaceful. Wish the weather had been better throughout our stay but it was very nice to wake up to the sound of the waves and nature. I will say if you have a toddler to make sure to take a safety gate. He made it a challenge wanting to climb the stairs so we went out to buy some for our stay. WiFi is spotty (which is a good thing) but I didn’t realize none of my messages were sent until this morning. My husband and son enjoyed some fishing and caught a few stingrays. I would love to go back later in the year.

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

Beautiful house and great location! The house had everything we needed, awesome water pressure- even in the outdoor shower. Hot tub and surrounding area were great when it rained/after the beach. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We had a very nice time!

We loved our stay in Southern Shores. This house was nice and clean when we got there—with fresh flowers even! It was an easy walk to the beach, even with kids and was also a plus to have an awesome ice cream shop so close! The pool and spa were perfect—we really enjoyed the privacy fence—felt like our own little oasis. I love the central location. It made it easy to visit so many places in OBX, like Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Duck and even Corolla. Everything was well stocked and we so appreciated the beach cart! Would definitely stay with Mary and Andy again.

Oceanside Bliss was exactly what the doctor ordered. I live on the west coast now but grew up in Virginia spending summer vacations on the OBX. This brought back all of those fond memories that I was gleefully able to share with my kids. The house was perfect for us, ages 3-83! Walking distance to the beach, stocked with beach towels&chairs&toys and the hot tub was a nice way to unwind after fighting waves. Cyndi was a great host. Available if you need her and the house is very well-organized with everything you might need to enjoy your trip! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, immaculate home! Very high end aesthetic, furniture, fixtures, dish-ware. The location has something to offer for all. The beach was a fairly short walk. The house came equipped with beach chairs, an umbrella, and a buggy to tote your items. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment. It’s a great house for a small group. I actually visited solo with my puppy and enjoyed having all the space.

Perfect place for families with small kids. The short walk to the beach and securely fenced in pool area made our stay so easy. Great location and fantastic floor plan to accommodate our four toddlers (and the four grandparents that tagged along)!

We really enjoyed our stay here as a family with small children. There were only a couple other people at the condominium so the pool was always available and parking was easy. I liked how you get to park underneath the condos so your car stays shaded. The lock code to the stairwell and elevator made us feel secure. There were plenty of nice beach items to use in the storage including wagon, umbrella, and chairs. Each room had plenty of beach towels and bath towels. The walk to the beach was minimal. The only cons were loud vehicles since you are close to the road and one ceiling fan not working in a bedroom but that didn’t bother us! Overall it is a great place and exceeded our expectations!

We had a great stay at the Superheat Retreat! The location was perfect, and the home was full of helpful amenities - including beach chairs and umbrellas. Gordon was great to communicate with and provided clear instructions for everything. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone visiting the OBX.

The condo was very charming with new appointments and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed sunrise each morning and the sound of the waves crashing each night. The kitchen was well equipped and had sufficient space for the two of us. It was also nice to have both a full and half bath as well as a door between the sink area and toilet/shower in the full bath. Having several options for coffee with espresso, drip, and a Keurig was a big plus A few observations we want to share. It would be very tight to fit 6 people in the place but you could comfortably have two couples or a couple with two kids with the second pair on the sleeper sofa. Overall it was a great stay for our anniversary weekend!!!

This house was perfect for our family. Loved how dog and kid friendly everything is! Took advantage of the beautiful pool and hot tub. Our dog loved the dog park! Such a fun perk. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. In a cute and quiet neighborhood with a park within walking distance. So close to Duck and all there is to do there. We had an amazing time! We will be back!

Rebecca is a great host. We felt right at home and the place is lovely. The entire condo was shining clean. It was a nice touch to have shampoos etc and towels ready. The walk in shower was a delight. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to cook. Yes overall the kitchen served our needs. We found the beds to be the best ever and we stay on ObX annually for 40 years!! Definitely great sleep. Thanks for a great week.

Our stay at changing tides in the Outer Banks was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean views and the short 30 second walk to the pristine beach. The house itself is a perfect blend of coastal charm and modern comfort, with a fabulous kitchen, hot tub, and very well appointed living spaces. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the thoughtful touches made our vacation effortless and relaxing. The location in Duck was ideal—close to local restaurants, shops, and attractions like iconic duck donuts haha, nearby cute places to eat , yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive. We will definitely return.

This is our 3rd time staying here! Has a beautiful view, great access to the beach and a nice pool, which is so great to break up the day. We traveled with two adults and two children perfect amount of space. Little dated inside but has everything you need. We come for the location, because it’s so good! As other reviews have said there is a rental above you. We had one night of very late night noise but other than that it was a wonderful stay, we will be coming back!

This home was everything and more! My family and I can’t rave enough about how clean this home was and how much it offered! The pool, hot tub, ping pong, bonfire were all amazing amenities. The house itself comes with everything you need. The beach was so close and the hosts gave us a great guidebook that helped us always stay busy and enjoy our stay even more. Great restaurants, coffee shops, and local attractions. We would definitely come back here again! Highly recommend staying here!

The house was absolutely beautiful, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed the balconies with the view of the ocean. It was a short walk to the beach and the beach wagon on site was handy. Can’t wait to return for another visit!

This Airbnb was great! We were a little skeptical at first because its located right in between all of the small shops, but it was awesome!

Wonderful place and very pet friendly. The location of the house on a beach access point/path was such an important benefit that I had not realized when booking the house (I did not know that there were specific beach access points and if you were not on a beach path, you had to walk to one and then head east to get to the beach) The beach cart and all of the beach accessories were terrific (shibuni, chairs, towels, cooler, beach mat, toys, bikes ect.) no need to pack/bring anything for the beach with you! Thanks for a great stay!

Great location! We frequented Chili Peppers Costal Grill, an 8 minute walk from Nadia's! Very convenient to the beach, and so nice having the beach chairs and cooler to take along. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Definitely recommend!

I had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage was spotless, very clean, beds were comfortable, it was exactly how it is depicted and described. I needed a place to decompress after my dad’s funeral and this was just the place. I traveled with my German Shepherd and we were able to take long walks on the beach right across the street. The host was very responsive to any questions I had and communicated when the place was ready early. Would totally recommend.

Sarah was a great and responsive host and the location was absolutely beautiful, a nice private beach across the street, this stay at Sarahs helped make our trip as phenomenal as it was.

We had an incredible stay at this stunning 6-bedroom beach house in Corolla! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail, beautiful furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout the home. It’s clear the owner truly cares about creating a premium experience for guest - every amenity you could want is here. The location is fantastic! Just a short walk to the beach with breathtaking views from the top deck that made for the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or sunset cocktails. The house has so much space for everyone to relax and have fun, whether it was hanging out in the game room, taking a dip in the private pool or jacuzzi or just lounging on one of the many private decks. The layout was ideal for our group and we especially appreciated how well-stocked and well-maintained everything was. This isn’t your average rentL as it feels more like staying in a luxurious, professionally designed vacation home. I would highly recommend this Outer Banks home.
