Beautiful romantic getaway, only 1.40hrs drive from Nairobi. Peaceful and gorgeous surroundings with an amazing sunrise and sunsets. Debs the host was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this place for 2 people, or a solo trip

Perfect spot for a peaceful few days. Gorgeous cottage exactly as pictured, with plenty of space, cozy fireplace, lots of light and the sounds of nature. Nice excursion to the glass blowing shop and cafe as well. Would highly recommend!

There was no electricity working when we checked in due to heavy rain the night before. I'm just sharing this information to let other travelers know it can happen in Karen and Nairobi. Fortunately, when we got back from early dinner and grocery shopping, like corn and potatoes to make with the fire pot, the electricity and wifi were back. Except for that part, everything was so lovely in this place during our 2-night stay. I'm usually scared of dogs, but I met two kind and adorable dogs here and I miss them already. The garden with the fireplace was amazing. We were able to stay outside at night and enjoyed it. Also, I loved the hot shower! Thank you for having us and we recommend this gem place to all :)

This is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful tree-filled garden. It's traditionally and comfortably furnished, well laid out, and the "office" space has a peaceful view of the tree-filled garden. It felt very homely, and Lucy and her staff are super friendly and welcoming. I'll be back.

Although we initially had some trouble finding the location, Moses and Nadia were incredibly helpful in guiding us. Overall, this is the perfect getaway when city life becomes overwhelming.
