Glengariff Villa - Mountain View Room

KamonnatRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Nestled in a peaceful location within a tea plantation. The surrounding area is stunning, and the 1.3km walk to the river and bridge provides a chance to soak in the beauty and get some exercise. A small charming village is also nearby, with friendly residents and a very small shop. The host is friendly, courteous, and always willing to go the extra mile, they made our stay truly enjoyable, especially for the food. The meals prepared at the villa were exceptional and provided a good introduction to Sri Lankan dishes. It's important to note that the villa has many stairs throughout. While this wasn't a major issue for us, it's something to consider if you have mobility limitations. Additionally, the access road is best suited for four-wheel drive or higher clearance vehicles. Overall Villa Glengariff is a fantastic choice for those seeking a peaceful getaway with stunning views and exceptional food.

Dorala Villa - For a sunny, chilled stay

PalomaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The accommodation is really quiet with a view of the beautiful mountains. I recommend eating at home because the dishes are delicious! Useful info, we took the house because it is close to Adam's Peak as the crow flies, but on the mountain road we are 3.5 hours from the main entrance (Halton), the nearest entrance is much more complicated and much longer (between 9 and 13 hours of hiking back and forth), it is the Ratnapura road. Finally Aryia is super responsive and can offer you small tours if needed. I would highly recommend this listing.
An artistic wall sign features the words 'Weekend Clouds' prominently displayed in carved wooden letters against a blue background. Green vines and plants are integrated into the design, adding a natural element to the contemporary look.

Room with pallets bed.

Great place for convenient stay if you're climbing Adam's Peak, just a short walk away from the entrance. Place is sufficiently stocked with amenities for your rest before and after the hike. Madu is a warm and friendly host who can help you if you need transport bookings or advice on the hike. The breakfast provided is very abundant and filling. There is also food to order if dinner is needed the night before the hike. PSA: Adam's Peak is quite a drive in, do take into consideration when booking transport to the guest house. Very thankful for a good post-hike meal, warm shower, and decent bed to rest on. Would recommend!
A view of Adam's Peak is framed by a large window, showcasing lush greenery and trees. On the table, a white teapot and a small dish sit on a checkered tablecloth, inviting guests to enjoy their surroundings.

Single Rooms at Gileemale Estate near Adams Peak

RuchithaRating, 5 stars17 months ago
Ishantha and the team were super helpful. Lots of activities to do on the property during the day and we loved the food. The only downside was the shower as there is only one indoor and it took really long as we were a group of 8. Everything else was fantastic!

GlenMyu Estate, Luxury Homestay, Cinnamon Room

NaomiRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Our best find in Sri Lanka. Hosts, Michael & Ruwanthi are so friendly & helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had a truly wonderful time. Glyn Myu is beautiful, luxurious & very comfortable. The location is quite simply breathtaking. Ruwanthi is an incredibly talented cook serving exquisite meals with most ingredients gathered from her extensive garden. Her knowledge of the dietary & medicinal properties of her homegrown larder is very impressive. She is also delighted to share her passion & knowledge. A Sri Lankan gem where we felt welcome, relaxed & immediately at home. They have a very informative website with contact details!
