We had a great few days at Donna’s home. Everything you need is there. It is clean, comfortable and spacious. Located just a few minutes walk away from the beach, shops & bars it’s perfect for a short break. 😎

This is an absolutely beautiful home which is perfect as a home base for exploring Islay. Rona is also a very accommodating and helpful host. We had a lovely stay! (Make sure to read Rona's very detailed and precise directions to get to the location [she provides great directions!], as like we experienced with many places in Scotland, Google Maps took us to an incorrect location.)

The house was booked for 12 friends, we all had a great stay. The garden was beautiful and we spent most time outside due to the beautiful weather. The rooms were all great sizes and were very clean on arrival. The space in the house was great for the event, and everyone in the party felt so at home in the house. The kitchen was spacious and had everything that you would need. Bathrooms were well kept, and the hosts had left plenty of towels for hotub. The games room was perfect for evening entertainment and we had great laughs in there during our stay. The house location is a 5 min drive from the ferry terminal and 5 min drive into dunoon town. Would highly recommend booking this for a weekend away!

We had a lovely stay at The Curling Pond. It is in a fabulous position - right next to the Inverary Castle estate and convenient to the town without being noisy. Spacious and with everything we needed. The host Peter is very helpful, and we would highly recommend it.

We had a great stay at the house and there is plenty of room for 8 people especially downstairs. It’s in a great spot and right beside a chippy and a shop. We had the best weekend of sunshine so the surrounding areas were beautiful. The noise from the pub was quite loud but the windows are really sound proof and ear plugs are provided if needed.

We would highly recommend Mirands house. Its just round the corner from beach and playpark and walkable in to centre of Ballycastle. The house is spotless and very comfortable. We had a great weekend here.

Superb property. The house was very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms all a good size and plenty of living space. The views across the loch are amazing. The kids loved playing hide and seek in the large garden, which is very private and not overlooked. We should have made more of the outside patio with the well appointed garden furniture. Lynn the host sent us really useful info about things to do and places to eat in the area. We did quite a few and they were all great recommendations. She also responded to queries about activities really quickly and checked in to make sure everything about our stay was going ok. Location is really good. Easy access to nearby Rhu and Helensburgh. We found it a good base from which venture out for a range of activities and big enough to spend time in the garden and house - and enjoy the views. A great property and brilliant host. We would highly recommend.

A really lovely caravan, very comfortable, with everything you could need. The kitchen has a great stove and all the small appliances. The lounge is a great place to relax. I loved that there are two bathrooms. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, and the bedding was good. No towels, so bring your own. We did not use any of the facilities on the park as we were travelling around all day. However, the people seemed friendly and the park is well maintained. Could use some trees though. Saltcoats is a lovely place and so are many of the other towns around. We loved our stay and Steven is a great host.

The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature, making it ideal for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. The cabin is well-equipped, providing everything you need, from kitchen utensils to toiletries. Everything matches the pictures and descriptions perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it to others.

Ronnie has been a great host ... he couldn't have been more helpful. Some lovely little touches on arrival leaving us some essentials and also a gift for my friends 60th birthday which was the reason for our visit to Scotland. I would definitely recommend Ronnie and his Caravan its lovely, clean and homely and has everything you need. He even put together a guide book which was really useful. We are hoping to book again for next year

Angeline is the perfect host. Answered any questions I had before booking & during my stay checked all was ok. The caravan is perfect. Pictures don’t do it justice. Very clean & has everything you could need. I slept so well in the comfy bed. The area around was super for my dog & I to explore. I can’t wait to book my next stay

Extremely peaceful and beautiful location, 30 mins from Oban. Magic views from the living room (lake, mountains, sheep everywhere). A lot of space for 4 adults + 2 kids in the house. A lot of facilities near the house including swimming pool. Clean and comfortable beds. Moved two single beds and provided baby cot as we requested. It was a bit difficult to find the house as we arrived late at night but no big deal. Highly recommended!

A perfect bolthole.... plenty of space inside for us and our 10mth old grandchild. Beautiful decking area with glorious view and we sat out several times..... very private. All mod cons included..... making it a very relaxing place to chill out. When we had a problem with the heating Andrew came and fixed it with a friendly smile. Mary explained all about the Lodge when we arrived and was at the end of the phone if needed. Thank you both. Kathy & Iain

It was a really nice place to chill. Personally, Saltcoats didn’t have a lot of what I look for in terms of dining and entertainment . The dogs loved the beaches nearby and because the caravan was so nice I was happy cooking and spending time chilling out there. I couldn’t have asked for more proactive and helpful hosts and they have made my first Airbnb experience a positive one. Thank you Gemma and Guy your place is lovely.

Had an amazing stay, the location is quite close to the beach and the surrounding is beautiful.

Carols place is lovely. We stationed ourselves here for 2 weeks while my husband completed placement nearby. We had beautiful weather so got to take advantage of the lovely outdoor areas. Ran into the hosts a couple of times and they were super friendly - extra puppies on site is always a dream. Inside everything was clean and cosy with lots of thoughtful touches. Absolutely would stay again.

The location and property exceeded our expectations. It has everything you need with a little nostalgia on the side. The views are fantastic from anywhere on the island, with lots of walks and swim spots. The islanders were very welcoming, and provided helpful info re best swim locations. We swam once or twice every day, access is with care via a 'slate slide'. There is a lovely pub/cafe, The Puffer, opposite the cottage, but worth booking as it gets very busy, open Thursday to Sunday. Locally produced, reasonably priced art, jewellery and soaps are available. The island is a peaceful haven.

Wonderful!Great communication and easy to follow instructions.Check in was extremely easy and we were welcomed with very thoughtful touches in the fridge- thankyou. The location was perfect for our trips to Troon,Ayr and the ferry to the Isle of Arran. The house was immaculate,light and airy and very comfortable.We had a super stay.

I had the most perfect stay at The Hideaway. The accommodation was clean and really spacious. Everything I needed was provided. Annette and Moris were very welcoming. Enjoyed our chats. Appreciated the milk and lovely scone on arrival. And the Bothy is handy for great snacks and cakes too! Loved sitting outside and listening to the birds. Such a beautiful and peaceful setting. This area of Scotland is stunning. The beach which is a short walk away is spectacular with amazing views over to Arran. I was lucky enough to get perfect weather too. I loved my week - and did NOT want to leave. Thank you so much.

My partner and I had a lovely time staying in the wee oak tree pod. It was very relaxing weekend and we look forward to our next trip.

Andreas place was absolutely stunning exactly as described totally worth the money. We were also able to take our cats as our sitter had bailed out which was totally convenient for us as we were there for the weekend. This Airbnb is located so close to Troon town Centre and the Royal golf course as well as Lochgreen House Hotel where we attended a wedding. We would have loved to have stayed for longer as there’s so much we could have done in Troon. this Airbnb has everything you need and Andrea has totally accommodated guest needs within this house, has thought of everything.

Allison was a such a lovely host and everything was so easy and well maintained! Highly recommend this beautiful stay if you love the quiet and serene surroundings 😊
