Cottage on the river Ayr with Hot Tub

NatRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Lakeside Cottage is beautiful, peaceful, steeped in history & easy to access once you know where it is, we drove past it 3 times lol. We were greeted with gorgeous fresh flowers in each room & a very tasty bottle of prosecco. Most Definitely will be going back at some point in the near future & can't recommend it enough as a quiet getaway - listening to the river Ayr was blissful!!

Pippin - Peaceful Scottish Cottages & Hot Tub

TinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
An absolute stunning break, our third time here. A quiet, comfortable home and a spectacular garden space for my autistic son to be himself, and my 3 Chihuahuas felt like they were in heaven. The hot tub was well used, even my elderly mum had a go. We had some lovely visits to the surrounding areas but mostly enjoyed the rest and relaxation that we all needed. We can’t wait to come back again.

A charming, well appointed Edwardian Gate Lodge

JeffreyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars! Excellent home in a really peaceful beautiful location. It was easy to find and no issues entering the property. Stunning old house which clearly has a lot of history. The home was well presented and we found it comfortable. All the instructions were clear. The hot tub was excellent and the kids loved it. So peaceful at night. Only a 10 min drive into Alyth where there is a couple of shops, but many many lovely walks about ideal for dogs. The wifi was a bit hit and miss we struggled watching tv as it kept freezing with no signal. However given the rural location this is excepted and didn’t bother us too much. AGA cooker was great a real experience and I’m sure in the winter it’s beautiful and warm. Overall we would recommend the property, my only room for improvement would be looking into the WiFi and potentially adding a better dining table and chairs outside. It would have been lovely to dine outside on some more comfort chairs and better seating. Still 5 stars!

Dog friendly, Country cottage with Hot tub

LorraineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a lovely find. Firstly, being told to look for the green door was spot on in us finding it quickly. Once inside I was shocked by how large the place was and so beautifully staged - like a magazine. Everything we could think of was there and resting in the hot tub after a few days of travel was lovely for the tired body My only suggestion is to sharpen the kitchen knives but I seem to say this to every place I book/stay at as it seems to be an often missed task, which is why I also travel with my own prep knife these days Laura was super fast and friendly in communication. The bedding was so crisp and comfortable and I really appreciate one of your showers is a walk in with only a small step - so much safer for me. Many thanks and all the best

Stylish Country Cottage with Exclusive Hot Tub!

SummerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a great find. Katrina is one of the most responsive and informative hosts I have had on Airbnb. Being from out of the country we had several questions and she answered so quickly. There were some hiking trails near by which was a nice surprise, and Katrina recommended Gloagburn which was a hidden gem! Would recommend this to anyone looking to be off the beaten path but still have plenty to do!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! It was beautifully kept, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was perfect — peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to explore the area. Our host was kind, responsive, and made us feel very welcome. Our kids especially enjoyed the stay — they loved the space, the surroundings, and felt right at home. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended, and we hope to return someday.

Garden Cottage is a beautiful home which is set in very rural surroundings. Everything was as listed and very well equipped. An excellent place to relax and switch off and an hours drive from Edinburgh and coastal regions. Cottage was well maintained and very clean, beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. Secure gardens to keep dogs safe too. Lots of helpful information provided about the cottage and where to visit during the stay. Chris is super helpful and friendly. Thank you for a delightful stay.

Exclusive cottage between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

StephanieRating, 5 starstoday
Duncan's place provided the perfect ending to our holiday. The cottage was spacious, yet cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable, two-night stay. Moreover, Duncan was available upon arrival to go over everything and offered information about sites to see in the area. He also let us know about the local train station that easily took us to Edinburgh so we could avoid the traffic mess. Lastly, he brought me some history books about the castles and estates, as I expressed an interest. We truly enjoyed pur stay and hope to visit again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Ginny’s cottage - it’s incredibly comfortable, with stunning views and easy access to lovely local walks. The spacious garden was a real highlight - perfect for our dog to explore, and we were lucky enough to see the red squirrels at the feeders! Ginny was a communicative and thoughtful host: communication was smooth and everything was just as described. We also hugely enjoyed the delicious baked goods and beautiful flowers from Ginny’s sister, Lynne. A very peaceful trip, would happily return!
