It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

No running water but indoor composting toilet and a rain barrel/sink.

The space is a charming and quant, tiny 300 sq ft attached space, and offers a full bathroom, a full size bed, and efficiency kitchen with a microwave, hot plate and toaster oven (no stove or oven). This quiet space is located on a small hobby farm with a many social animals. Sip your coffee and watch our sheep graze before you head out on your next adventure

The Beach House

Beautiful year round beach house. This tiny house is located on Second Sand Beach. Guests will enjoy an all sand beach on Lake Superior. It is 8 miles from the town of L’Anse, and a 40 minute drive to Houghton. Cross country ski trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails, and ORV trails are minutes away. Participate in the many summer and winter fishing tournaments in the area or relax and unwind on the private beach. A boat launch area is a short walk down the beach.
