Marilyn, Your home is beautiful and our family truly enjoyed our time/Thanksgiving with our son who attends West Point!! We really felt at home and preparing Thanksgiving was a joy as we were able to be together and under one roof!! Everyone felt comfortable and there was plenty of space!! The layout of your home with the huge patio windows was such a morning treat!! To drink coffee and sit looking at the beautiful lake was so wonderful!! We are really thankful you helped us with the purchase of the turkey!! We couldn’t have cooked our own if it weren’t for you!! The Art Grove was the perfect place for me and my parents to stay! It has all the amenities you need during a stay including a grill outside for cooking and a fully stocked kitchen. Russell and his wife, Janet were incredibly friendly and helpful. The artwork around the house was an added bonus to enjoy during the stay! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful home to stay in while visiting the area. It’s also perfect for those who love to go hiking, as there are plenty of trails nearby!

We stayed at Basquali’s cabin in Carmel, NY from Thursday to Monday for a long weekend getaway to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was exactly what we needed. The cabin is beautifully decorated, cozy, and inviting. We spent our time cooking, baking, sipping wine, watching shows, and listening to records—lots of Elton John, which was a highlight. The natural light during the day is stunning, and the space is thoughtfully equipped with everything for a comfortable stay. The bed was great, the kitchen had all the essentials, and everything was clean and well-kept. We picked up groceries about 20 minutes away, went on long walks with our dog, and explored nearby towns like Rhinebeck, Beacon, and Kingston. Basquali was a wonderful host—kind, responsive, and flexible when we were running late for check-in. We’d absolutely return and recommend this peaceful cabin to anyone looking to recharge outside the city. Thank you again, Basquali!
