Vacation rentals in Jefferson County

Honestly it is a nice place. Getting to the house is a little tricky when it rains. There is a creek crossing in order to get to the house. I wish I was made aware of this. I drive a 4 door sedan ( which would not have cleared the creek) fortunately we decided to take my partners Subaru. The Subaru barely cleared the creek. Good luck if it rains a lot. Also, the wifi/ Internet there sucks. There is no cell service and the Internet is super slow. We just needed a place to crash somewhat near the Boone Terrier Mine for diving. This served that purpose. Just don't expect too much. The extra amenities in the master bedroom are nice ( extra pull out bed).

The home is adorable with so much to look at and explore. We only stayed one night as we were traveling cross country so we didn’t get to explore too much. But we loved all the decorations and the outside was amazing. Would be so fun to stay in the summer! Also liked having a private dog park for our doggies. The fish pond is super cool as well! Loved looking at all the gold fish in there. Only thing that was difficult was the only bathroom upstairs is in the master bedroom with no privacy. This made it difficult for our kids to use the bathroom in the middle of the night as they had to find their way downstairs, which was a bit cumbersome for my 10 year old. All in all it was delightful.

The house met my needs perfectly. Secluded feel but only a 10 minute drive to shops and restaurants. I would stay again!

We’ve stayed at the Theos Properties several times now and already have our next visit booked. The location is perfect for us - close to family in the area. It’s always very clean & comfortable and has everything we need. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Tucked back in the middle of the woods of Jefferson County, this quaint home is nestled on several screws of private property that are perfect for the quiet, peaceful country getaway you’re looking for. Plenty of outdoor dating with campfire that overlook the pristine creek just fifty feet away made for a nice evening outside, and walking creek bed along the running water was a relaxing and serene way to wake up the next morning. Owners were very proactive with information that made the stay even better, and the home was clean and comfortable. This is the place you’re looking for.

This place was absolutely beautiful and had wildlife to boot. Short walk to the lake and the host were terrific. Even let us know when fireworks at the Lake would be. Would definitely visit again.

Stay here! It’s beautiful, relaxing, and clean! It was in the middle of everything yet you felt secluded and peaceful! The goats are awesome and the hot tub under the stars is something you won’t forget. Due to bad weather (snow and ice storm) I had to leave early but they were in touch with me the whole time. Letting me know what to expect and when to leave. The location is amazing. 20+ min to about 5 incredible parks! (Elephant rocks is a must!). I felt safe staying there alone. That truly matters. I will be back for sure and I can not wait to go back! One of the BEST places I have stayed at and I have stayed a lot of places! Honestly do not hesitate! Even the bed was perfect! Enjoy! You will love it!

Easily our best stay at an air bnb. The attention to detail was a huge bonus. The home is clean, fresh, extra linens in every room, extra blankets, higher end quality kitchenware… I can’t say enough! I would recommend this great stay to anyone in the area! Chris was also very responsive, helpful, and thoughtful.

Everything was great! The hot tub was clean, the treehouse was exactly as shown, there was lots to do, and the host was so friendly. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in the woods!

Cathy was a great host! Very easy to communicate with and the BnB was very spacious. I would highly recommend staying with Cathy if you want a great guest experience!

We love staying at the Serenity Cabin! Peaceful, plenty of space to spread out, and the cabin is cozy and clean. Dennie has breakfast supplies ready for her guests which is a great bonus! We look forward to staying again.

This place was absolutely lovely. The creek was definitely something special. Katie was very communicative and helpful. We really enjoyed bringing my honey’s birthday at y’all’s place. We came while there was so much snow on the road, we weren’t sure if we were gonna have to reschedule or not. Thankfully it all worked out. The hot tub in the snow, 10/10 recommend. As well as the sauna. Wonderful experience.
