The house is really nice. It's very clean, good location and the views are beautiful. We were able to freely enjoy the garden and BBQ. The bedding is comfortable. Everything is very clean (bathroom, kitchen, sheets, towels...). Finally, many beaches and spots to visit nearby. Thanks!

The host was very kind and had a comfortable stay.Thank you!The beautiful sea spread out before me, and I was able to relax in a great location.It was a three-story building, but there was an elevator in the building, so it was safe for families with bad legs.We were grateful for the amenities, coffee, and sweets. The only thing that bothered me was the thin futon and the sound of cars that could be heard from the road right behind (there's nothing you can do about this, but…). Also, there was no mention of it in the amenities section, but there was a hair dryer!

I stayed here for three days for sightseeing in Higashiizu. The house was spacious and I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay with the kids. As far as I asked before I left, I thought it was difficult to understand because it was going through a narrow road, but when I actually went up the hill, the road was no problem with running in a minivan, and it was a place to remember quickly. It is very convenient to go all over the north and south, so it is recommended for those who want to stay for a long time. Thank you very much.

Awesome view of Fuji and the lake, u can definitely catch fujisan early in the morning! The bbq was awesome, Tomoko arranged all the bbq stuff for us which is very helpful.

My son and I interrupted 2 nights and 3 days. They were very polite before the stay. The host was very reassuring, and I always had a pleasant time. The place was very spacious and fully equipped with kitchen utensils. The terrace was also nice. I'd love to stay there again if I get the chance.

The view is amazing!On the secluded hill, you can see Mt. Fuji and the mountain middle lake.There is also fully equipped for grilling, a campfire, burning the fireplace.Perfect getaway stay!

There was plenty of space in the room, and there were all the cooking utensils and amenities, so I had a comfortable stay. The grill for the BBQ was also ready to use. There are few street lights around, so it's safe to move before the sun goes down.

Very flexible on check out, a lot of things to do near by, staff was awesome, they treat you like family, highly recommended!!

Four boys had planned to camp, but due to bad weather, we suddenly booked this inn. Despite contacting the host on the day, the host was very polite and the room was tidy and very clean. There is a rain shelter and you can have a BBQ outside, so I recommend it for those who stay.However, there is no large supermarket nearby, so it is good to check in after you have bought enough groceries.

The building and the outside were very clean, and it was easy to spend time there and comfortable! They handled it politely and quickly even when check-in was a hassle. It was nice that both the pool and sauna were available, which is rare, so both adults and children could enjoy it!The kids were very happy. The only thing that bothered me was that the temperature in the sauna room only went up to about 60 degrees. I thought it was pretty unsatisfactory for people who like saunas.I think the sauna towels should be changed. Other than that, it was nice to have a pleasant and enjoyable time. Thank you ^_^

If you only prepare ingredients, there are seasonings and sauces. There were few ingredients at the nearby supermarket, so I thought it would be good to prepare it in advance. All of the meat from the butcher you mentioned was delicious.

Very convenient location to enjoy Shimoda festivals and events! There is no bath in the room, but there is a public bath nearby, and this time I used the hotel's early morning hot spring, which is 10 minutes away by car.It was a great holiday!

I spent time with elementary school students and children at the nursery school, but it was quiet, and we enjoyed playing in the garden. There is also a supermarket and convenience store near the bus stop, so I didn't find it inconvenient to shop.

We stayed in this lovely home just outside of town, nestled in nature, for one month and felt right at home. Abhi is a most generous and considerate host, he helped us out from start to finish and made sure we had the best time in the Shimoda area. You do not need a car if staying here as the beach and a couple of restaurants are only about a 10 min walk from the house and convenience store about 20 minutes and a couple more good restaurants / bars about 35 minutes. But if you want to visit more sites in the area or go to the grocery store we'd recommend a car. The main reason we were visiting the area was to dive with the huge schools of Hammerhead sharks just off the coast here. Without a car the dive center can pick you up.
