nice place to take a rest. Clean and comfortable, you can also enjoy the hot springs. Only 5 minutes walk from the beach.

The hot spring was great, the room was as pictured, and the balcony with mountain view, we had a relaxing time.

Thanks for your hospitality!I used it on a graduation trip with my university class, and we were able to relax without worrying about other guests because they handled it as a private rental! You can also BBQ on the lovely kitchen terrace, and I am very satisfied! The European-style room is also very cute, and I would definitely like to stay there again!

This place is perfect for couple / family weekend. Accommodations are typically japanese and the hot spring is very cute. One of the best point is the closeness to the beach ( 3 min by walk ). Close to the ryōkan, there's a very yummy restaurant. Bicycles, snacks and japanese tea are nice bonus.

Very convenient for us, since we were traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto with a stop in Atami, and the place was just 5 minute walk to the station, stores and cafes, easy to find, plus the room was clean and comfortable.

A nice place to stay. Very nice staff and from the roof you had a very nice view. If I were to come to Atami again, I will also book this accommodation.

Besides the incorrect address on Airbnb, the stay was overall very nice and the host was nice enough to pick us up when we arrived at the wrong location. He was very responsive and the airbnb itself overall was very nice for the price. The onsen view was nice as well.

our room had a stunning view of miunt fuji. we were able to book 1 hour in the private onsen, which was a very fun and exciting experience. Jing was extremely kind and picked us up from the bus stop and took all our luggage. we felt very special. thank you

Great value onsen hotel. Smarter than the photos or price lead you to think. I stayed in a Japanese style room, which was very spacious. It had its own balcony, a separate seating area by the windows with fridge and teapots, mugs, etc, and a large living / sleeping space. There is an ensuite toilet and sink but the shower is in the onsen on the first floor. I received detailed check in instructions for self check in but there was a receptionist there between 4-11pm on the days I stayed so they checked me in when I arrived. The hotel is located up a hill. This means it is peaceful with super views down the mountain to the sea. However, unless you have a car you will probably rely on the local bus. It is every 40 mins and is very reliable. It departs from across the road from Kinomiya station at 14, 54 and 34 mins past the hour and drops you about 2-3 mins walk from the hotel. It is the number 11 to Ainohara. You can also pick it up from Atami station.

If you are concerned about the lack of reviews like I was before then theres no need to worry! This hotel room was the best airbnb I’ve been at before. However, would only recommend if you have a car. The room was brand new. Complimentary wine bottle, beers and snacks. Spacious, luxurious and modern. Warm foot bath on the balcony with a view (not breathtaking but a view nonetheless). Massive bath and toilet, with hotspring bath with adjustable water heat. And a sauna (although we didnt get to use)! Free parking with plenty of spaces. Self-check in easily. Only regret was not spending more time there. Although it is on the more expensive side being a hotel, definitely worth it to wind down from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The host is very kind and friendly, the decoration and the selection of books available for reading in the B&B are aesthetic online, and the restaurant guide provided is very rich. We chose a sushi restaurant and Okinawan cuisine that can be reached on foot nearby, which is very delicious.I'll be staying in Izu next time, looking forward to seeing you next time ~

Beautiful place to stay! A bit far from restaurants and other stores but if you drive it’s no problem.

A great, very nice host family. Maki's breakfast was very tasty and the onsen a great relaxation in the evening. Maki's husband even drove us to the train station on the last day, very nice! A beautiful ryokan!

We had the most amazing time at Rakuten. The place is very comfortable and beautiful. As Japanese do, details of the room well thought out. In particular we love having our own onsen in the room and our own private cinema. We’ve certainly made the most out of it. Price is slightly on the pricey side but certainly worth the private experience. Cannot recommend it more!
