Townhome vacation rentals in Istanbul

Our group enjoyed staying in the Taksim neighborhood! The apartments were clean and had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay in Istanbul. The host helped with private transport and was always friendly.

Cute house in colourful neighbourhood, walking distance to tram. Our family of four enjoyed 3 nights here. House was clean and warm with easy check in. Host even had bread, milk and eggs in store for us on arrival which was appreciated after our long overnight journey. (Supermarket only 5 mins walk thereafter). 15 minute walk (steep hill) to tram then easy access within city. We loved the neighbourhood of Balat, the colourful houses give the area real character. Wish we had a longer stay, lots to see and do in city. If we return we would definitely book same property and would recommend to others. Thanks Ozkan!

This was a great stay in a prime location. The hosts were extremely helpful with tips on what to see and do, and prepared me coffee several times. I would recommend a stay here to anyone.

Wonderful stay. Location was perfect. Restaurants, transportation, sightseeing all within convenient walking distance. Highly recommend this townhouse when visiting Istanbul.

Our extended family stayed for a week at Ozkans house Ozkan was very responsive to guide our taxi drive through the original cobble stone lanes. it is an original house dating back to the Otterman era, the house had everything we needed, lots of books washing .machine, well equipped kitchen. The main bed was a bit lumpy but strangely comfortable, downstairs double was ok, the single mattress wasn't so good. The house is halfway up the hill from the tourist area, lots of Cafes etc. Where the houses is,the area hasn't been gentrified. Was a little concerned when we arrived, Taxi driver wasn't enthusiastic about the area. However we found the area safe. friendly. We were a party of 3 women. and 1 man. Plenty of nearby small shops to buy groceries etc. The tram, bus and ferry station are 5/ 10 minute walk away, so very convenient to get to the Istanbull centre, Taksim or 30 minute walk. It was a very interesting enjoyable stay. Ozkan was a very responsive and generous host

Right in the middle of happening place… very clean, nice views from balcony, lots of amenities in the house, easy check-in, very friendly and approachable host if you have elders, then it wud be little inconvenient to get to top floors - but yes, this is a 3-story floor - so cannot really complain.. Highly recommended !!

Great place for my family and I stay! Close to everything we needed and very spacious with a classic living feel. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful apartment uphill from the heart of Balat. we stayed for 9 days so plenty of time to experience the neighborhood and the place. It was a pleasant place to stay. We didn't want to stay in the massively touristy areas and experience a little but of the local life and Balat is great for that. The place is set over 4 floors with very steep stairs. be very careful whilst coming down. luckily there's a toilet on each floor. It was comfortable, relatively quiet and safe. We travelled with cabin luggages so very grateful for the supplied shower gel and shampoo! We cooked a little and the kitchen is totally functional as is the washing machine ( although you'll need a but of Google lens translation to figure out the programmes!) Constructive criticism - could do with hooks for the towels in each bathroom and a couple more seats on the terrace. It was a really nice spot to have our breakfast and evening sundowner. Also, no TV unlike what is listed but good WiFi available.

Our recent stay at this Airbnb in Turkey was truly amazing! The location was super convenient—everywhere we wanted to go was just a short taxi ride away. Plus, taxis had no trouble finding the place, which made getting around a breeze. The house itself was spotless! You could tell the host took our request for cleanliness seriously. The place smelled fresh and looked immaculate. The host even provided extra towels, tissues, and bed sheets without any hesitation. The layout of the Airbnb was fantastic: three floors, each with its own bed and bathroom. This setup was perfect for our family, and it would be ideal for multiple families traveling together. The privacy and convenience were top-notch. The ground floor had a billiard table, which was a huge hit with the kids (and the adults!). It was such a fun feature and gave the kids a great place to hang out while the adults relaxed. Finally, the host was incredibly accommodating. Feyhan was an amazing host. She was responsive and answered any questions I had. She made my me, my wife, and my 9 month old daughter feel right at home. She even provided a baby bath in the shower and toys. Her place was updated, clean, and was easily walkable to restaurants and shops in balat. If staying in Istanbul, stay at her place. You will not be disappointed.

Great house for a large company! But keep in mind that the street under it's windows is very noisy on the weekend)

I lived in it for two days. My family and I have 7 people, and I say, it was a wonderful experience and a very clean house, and the owner of the house, brother Hani is short , providing all the needs. In addition, he responds to me along if I ask anything. The accommodation is small sailors and live in a popular atmosphere amid friendly neighbors. 👏🏼

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is absolutely gorgeous and in a perfect location. Merve was fantastic and we really appreciated her tips on where to go in the area and travel to and from the airport. Thank you so much and we look forward to visiting again soon!

Beautiful, spacious house in a nice area of Istanbul. The ferry gets you to the center easily. We had an excellent stay!

Burks was a very responsive host, making sure I had everything I needed prior to me even arriving to the Airbnb. He also had complimentary drinks, tea, soap, towels and wash cloths. The Airbnb was even better than described being about 6 floors from the basement kitchen to the master bedroom with its own balcony on the top floor. There were 4 bedrooms total and each room had a fridge, stove top and bathroom/ shower. Only thing is the top floor room did not have a stove top but the balcony made it worth it plus who cooks on vacation anyway lol. The Airbnb was walking distance from several bars, clubs, restaurants and Galata tower. There is a parking garage a five minute walk from the Airbnb as well. Definitely would stay here again the next time I’m in İstanbul
