Vacation rentals in Islip

I absolutely loved staying at this spot! The place was even more beautiful in person—pictures really don’t do it justice. It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Huge thanks to the host for being so helpful and accommodating, especially with helping us get the fire started. It made our stay even more special. I would highly recommend this place and would love to come back again!

Tony and Annie are such sweet hosts! They made sure we felt at home while providing us with the local insights on where to go, what transportation to take, and what to avoid. Such easy going people to talk to. We booked a car on Turo for our adventures and knew we wanted to stay in Long Island and transit into the city whenever we wanted to go. We thought about driving into Manhattan but Tony and Annie told us that it wasn’t the smartest idea because downtown traffic is crazy and parking was hefty. Overall phenomenal stay!

The home was exactly as pictured and met all of our needs. It was charming, clean, and cozy. The yard and outdoor areas were well-kept too! We were super close to all of the shopping and restaurants and loved the fact that we could park in the private driveway. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were all great. The only thing that set us back a little were the creaky stairs when the baby was napping in the master bedroom and the handle fell off of the “cold water” faucet for the tub every time we used it, but these aren’t major issues and we fully enjoyed our stay! The Bungalow is very cozy, perfect for couples or small families. The hosts were very friendly and responded quickly when reached out to. The Bungalow has a beautiful and spacious yard, the patio is a beautiful and peaceful area to enjoy morning coffee or dinner alfresco, the fire pit area is nestled in the far corner of the property that provides a great place to gather around the fire at days end. The only “Cons” we had at the time of our stay, were the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit were older and plastic. As big and tall people the chairs weren’t comfortable, there were no night stands shelving or tables in the bedroom to put anything on, the front screen door doesn’t open very wide due to the railing, so prepare to take your suitcases in one at a time, and lastly if you are tall, watch your head on the front door awning support. I know these are minor complaints but we feel they are worth noting. That being said, we enjoyed our stay very much.

We would definitely book here again! We were in town visiting family close by and this was the perfect spot for us. The bunk beds, toys that were already on site, multiple TVs and in home laundry were fantastic for our stay. The place was very clean, the host was very responsive and we loved the neighborhood. My favorite was the little porch we could sit on to enjoy our coffee and admire all of the landscaping in the various yards. My kids loved it too - their bunk beds were so fun and PLENTY of storage for all of their items. Parking was so easy, quiet neighborhood. We went to several parks all around!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is walkable to lots and shops and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful and right on the water. Laura goes above and beyond in terms of communication and amenities, and the house is clean, comfortable, and lovely. Would definitely recommend!

Very comfortable and clean. Bed was great and Misty left a lot of food and beverages for us which made our stay easy.
