Monthly Rentals in Islay

Pat is a lovely person, she gave us a such warm welcome! We really enjoyed our stay at Coull Farm, which is a running farm with lots of sheep, cows, friendly cats and dogs, tractors eg. The cottage provided us with everything we needed, especially the kitchen is perfectly equipped. Stunning views to nearby Machir Bay, Kilchoman destillery is also nearby, a good location for having lunch, grabbing homemade cakes, really good coffee and whisky of course.

My husband, myself and 2 friends stayed at Fraser's cottage for Fèis 2025. It was right around the corner from Bowmore, so that was incredibly convenient for walking to their location. There was parking right in front of the cottage, which was a major plus. The living room was very comfortable. The kitchen was not stocked with tea or coffee, so we had to go to the Co-Op and get Nespresso pods once it opened. Fair warning, there is a single bathroom. We managed with 4 adults with shower rotations at night and morning. The shower itself isn't great, and overall the cottage is a bit rustic. One toilet was less easy to work around. The bedding and towels were also definitely worn. Basically, you're paying for the great location and Fraser's conscientiousness. We appreciate him sharing his cottage with us.

The Anchorage was a beautiful spot from which to explore Islay. The home was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay, and the views were a highlight (loved watching the seals from the conservatory!).

This location was fantastic. Easy walk to both Bruichladdich distillery and the great restaurants in port charlotte. Very nice accommodations, very helpful host, and would recommend to anyone. Stunning walk along Loch Indaal in both directions, along the path with the lighthouse, sheep, cows, the sea.
