a very functional apartment at the gates of Ortigia, so city center easily accessible on foot, we have always managed to park our car near the apartment whatever the extra time the week of August 15! Maria proved to be an extremely attentive and friendly host

Cozy place close to Ortigia bridges

Very attentive and responsive host. The apartment is very comfortable, well-equipped and nicely decorated. You have to be a good walker or borrow the bikes kindly made available by Salvio to get to Ortigia. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property.

The house is located a short walk from Ortigia, in a quiet area. The house is large, spacious but needs to be improved in terms of cleanliness. During peak hours, water is a bit scarce. I would also recommend this place to those with small children like us. The host gave us great restaurant recommendations.

Massimo and Rita were wonderful Host! The Airbnb was spectacular and in a wonderful location where it’s just a short walk to Ortiga and in the heart of Syracuse! They pointed us in the right direction on planning things and will give them an A+ on service as what a super host should do! Overall, this was one of the best overall Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at in the world and will definitely be back to visit again in he future! Thanks Massimo and Rita for such an unforgettable experience in Syracuse!

We were 8 adults ages 23 to 82 on a trip, and the place was a good fit for everyone. Nice with many bathrooms and big nice bedrooms. The patio is absolutely beautiful and the awning was good to have when the sun was on. There was AC in every room but we didn't use that.

Everything is great! Martina is a wonderful host! The terrace is wonderful with the beautiful olive tree, where you can eat nicely and enjoy the evenings.

The apartment was exactly as described. Lots of light. Plenty of space (and four small balconies)! Quite quiet for the location. AC works well. Fabio gave us great reccos for restaurants. Note: on street parking is 1 - 2 € per day, but worth it. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: - Convenient parking (don't know what it's like in summer) - Good location, not far from Ortigia, but far enough to avoid any disturbance - Fast wifi - All required amenities - Clean & comfy - A/C was efficient to heat the interior when needed (our visit happen to be in Feb) Cons: - A bit acoustic; we could hear steps and even small noises from above, not anybody's fault, it's just how this building is constructed - Bedrooms have windows opening to a tiny internal courtyard or stairwell - but as we use them for sleeping only, doesn't matter

The place is beautifully set up with some points of interest very attentive and a pleasant stay The house has heating, just when using electricity, you can only use one stove in the kitchen

I stayed at Leandro’s listing during my one day visit to Syracuse and enjoyed my stay as well as Syracuse very much.

The listing is clean, according to the description and photos. The room is large and the bed is comfortable. It is very close to Ortigia on foot and the daily market for shopping and not far from the bus and train station to get to Catania, Noto, Raguse etc. it is quiet which is good for resting at night. For those who are used to sleeping in complete darkness remember to take a mask there is no shutter and public lighting is present. Fabio is very responsive to messages and very friendly. Check-in time is easy and autonomous. We didn't miss anything, we had a lovely stay and recommend this place.

We enjoyed the place in a good location to visit Ortigia on foot and the archaeological park. It is as described with a welcoming and tastefully decorated common area. There is no reserved parking space but it was easy to find one nearby. Aurore was friendly and responsive. We would recommend it.

The flat is amazing!!!! We were 5 girls and loved our staying!! The host was kind, welcoming, accommodating. The place was spotless. The pool was clean and warm with a great view. The mount Etna view with the morning coffee is everything one can wish for!

We had a great time here! The host and his children are very welcoming and responsive. The accommodation is very clean and convenient. We didn't have time to test the pool. The car is essential for walking but maybe there are other means of locomotion. The sunsets on the balcony and the sea view are beautiful:)

Had a very nice stay of several nights in the 2nd floor apartment in this quiet house surrounded by a large oasis of greenery and with a beautiful and large pool. Sunbeds available. The hostess is always responsive and her family discreet. If you are a late riser don't forget a mask because the blackout curtains are not really and there are no shutters. The apartment on the 1st floor seems to have a larger terrace, at least with a view of the pool. Her 2nd bedroom has a real window and not veluxes like on the 2nd floor.

We had a wonderful time at Davide’s place . The apartment is situated in a beautiful garden , with no sound except the cicadas . Nice restaurants nearby and fish market selling fish straight from the boat , which we bought several times - very fresh . We especially liked the Fornace restaurant , right by the sea with smoking Mount Etna on view in the distance . Loved Ortigia too . So atmospheric, even before we stumbled upon a rehearsal for Dolce and Gabbana’s fashion show one morning !!Loads of great cities for sightseeing nearby and we discovered several beautiful beaches in the nature reserve . Davide was very helpful and thoughtful and we enjoyed our stay very much . Thank you

We spent about ten days on this very nice privileged estate. An ideal setting surrounded by orchards with cicadas and crickets. We have taken the apartment accommodation with the balcony which makes it possible to have a comfortable living space. What we also enjoyed was the calm away from the tourist mass in the countryside. This place is very intimate for couples in need of relaxing. The pool is really a plus to cool off and have fun. There are only twenty minutes to go to Syracuse or Noto. We were in a golden triangle. The caring hosts also welcomed us very well with a late and flexible arrival. They provided us with clear and accurate access information. Recommended ++++

We had a wonderful week at Paola's apartment. It was actually just as beautiful as shown in the pictures. You wake up with the sound of the sea, the sun over the sea, it's magnificent! There are, if you are willing to drive some car, many possibilities for nice excursions, a very nice sandy beach is just five minutes away (Agnone Bagni). The people you meet are very friendly, the food delicious, the climate in October perfect. Everything is available in the apartment, you can also cook for yourself if you like. Paola is a perfect host, there are many good tips and suggestions, she can be contacted at any time. Ketty, as a local contact, was also very friendly and helpful. We say: Thank you, it was beautiful. The only (small) drawback: The pool overall does not invite you to swim and play, it is somewhat outdated. However, there is the beach and the sea, which is a lot anyway

Amazing location with fantastic sea views and views of Mount Etna. We visited end of October and basically had the complex to ourselves (including the pool!). Marco was extremely helpful and very welcoming. We hired a car for the week so that we could visit the amazing beaches up and down the coast, and of course, Etna. Direct access to the sea at the bottom of the apartments is closed, but it is not far to reach via another footpath.
