Vacation rentals in Island Block

Bull Creek is an absolutely lovely spot. Quiet and remote with lovely bush and beach walks. The neighbours were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Walking in the nearby bush being deafened by the bellbirds a definite highlight. Views from the house of the sea was spectacular and the coastal walks and seeing the seals and lots of birds was another highlight. All of us agreed that we would love to stay again.

Wonderful place for a relaxing stay. Absolutely stunning scenery, and such a cosy spot. It was so wonderful to be able to bring our dog, too - he was in heaven running around, and having Sarah be so accommodating with him allowed us to relax even more. Lovely touches throughout like candles, and the fire ready to go if we needed it! The outdoor bath was also a fabulous treat that we thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be back!

Lovely place to stay would definitely go back. Very relaxing with a beautiful view woke up to a couple of bellbirds singing to each other. Handy to township too .

The cottage is part of a working vineyard, and one finds serenity and feels restful. It is exactly as described. Jen was a wonderful and thoughtful host -- she was responsive, esp. when we brought to her attention small glitches that are bound to happen despite the best of intentions, and she promptly help us to take care of the small glitches and even added a surprising personal touch to make our stay that much more enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay; we got to explore the Central Otago wineries, and got to enjoy the sunset at the cottage sitting on the porch in the back. Jen's cottage is between Alexandra and Clyde, and within short driving distance to some great wineries and to other parts of Central Otago. I find Alexandra an easy and pleasant city to shop for produce if needed. I look forward to staying with Jen again if I visit Central Otago in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and relaxing place. The hot tub is amazing, and the personal touch of checking in to see if/when we wanted it lot every day was really kind. Whether it’s watching the stars by night or staring at the view by day, this is the perfect spot to do it from - comfortable and well-equipped.

It’s not often I’m lost for words. What an incredible, magical property. It’s very private, hidden amongst the trees. The architecture is something else - absolutely unique and rustic. Lots of intriguing details and a wonderful leather couch draped with sheepskins. The lovely hosts were super welcoming. We enjoyed exploring the property.

I had a great time with my family at this Air bnb, it had amazing views, the house was clutter free and very clean, felt just like being at my home. Kids loved the bunk beds 😊
