This lovely self-contained studio apartment is ideal for a solo traveller or couple who's looking to explore the beautiful Malmsbury-Kyneton area. I visited for genealogicial research and to get to know the area, and I wasn't disappointed. The accommodation is ideal for walking into the village, and for walks to iconic local places such as the Malmsbury Common, Viaduct, Reservoir and Botanic Gardens. Autumn colours are resplendent in May and it was an enjoyable visit. The room is modern, clean, warm and comfortable with all necessary amenities. Neroli and Lance assure privacy and provide supplies for a wholesome breakfast. Fairies magically appear after breakfast to take away the tray with dishes, and return it later with fresh supplies.

We had a lovely stay and Laurelle was an extremely thoughtful and responsive host. Would highly recommend this lovely place for anyone visiting the area.

Carla was the best host I have ever had in any dealings with at Airbnb. Nothing was ever too hard of a question and was fantastic with places to visit and eat.

Kim’s place was lovely. We took our two golden retrievers who really appreciated all the little touches that make it ideal for pups - things like snacks for them on arrival and pup friendly bed linen. The area is ideal if you’re looking to step away from the city hustle and bustle, and just vanish into the countryside. Whilst Vaughan is very quiet and peaceful, Daylesford was about a 20-30 mins drive away which of course has plenty to do. An ideal balance of both worlds. Kim’s responses were super quick which was hugely appreciated and a great welcome pack was available too. Highly recommend to anyone who just wants to step away from the world for a little hush time.
