Superb, very spacious, thoughtfully and immaculately presented basement flat of family home. Felt private. Super location for walking to local amenities /beach. Mike and Helen have thought through what helps a holiday maker and provided it in the apartment . Communication was v. prompt and helpful. All good!

very nice flat. one set of stairs for those with heavy luggage. close to center of town but high up two very steep outside steps . may be tough for those with mobility issues

Location was ideal for exploring the area, lovely hosts who were on hand should we have any queries, flat itself was comfortable & cosy and had everything we needed. I'd go back to this property without hesitation

A great base for exploring the local area and beyond. The downstairs space had everything we needed for relaxing and cooking, and a beautiful view out across the loch. Bedrooms had comfy beds (and pillows!) with enough space for clothes, bags, etc. A great apartment in a stunning part of the world, which I'd happily stay in again. Very quick and friendly comms too.

We come up to Lossie every year to visit family and try to get Stuarts place as all of us enjoy it there. Great location for some lovely walks, great places to eat and drink without needing to drive. Stuart is great at communicating and is very flexible. The apartment suits us perfectly and is always very clean! Hopefully will be staying there next year again!

Sheila was awesome. Very responsive. Having a sea view from the condo was quite relaxing. The condo was spotlessly clean. Having two bathrooms was a plus. The kitchen was quite well appointed. We used the combo washer/dryer and it takes a while, but worked well. The dishwasher tabs and clothes washing soap were provided, which made it convenient. One note for mobility challenged people: the elevator is in the front of the building with no parking spaces, so you park on the side street about 300’ away and a small slope to go up & down. The shower also has a 6-8” step up. My husband helped me so I was able to navigate both without an issue.

Our family had a great holiday in Fort William. The apartment was superb, just as in the pictures and description, and the location was perfect for us - right on the high street and walkable to and from the station and bus stops. This was really useful to us as we'd got the Caledonian Sleeper direct to Fort William from London. Would definitely recommend this place and will probably return ourselves too at some point.

The flat was very warm and cosy. There were not many cars around and you couldnt hear any noise from the road. Neighbours were very friendly. Regular bus service and shops close by. Altogether a lovely visit.

Lovely well kitted out cottage. Perfect for our party of 6 women. Walked into Braemar both evenings for dinner. Very convenient for our trip to Balmoral castle. Miep was a great hostess. Would love to go back as lots to do in the area and would definitely stay in Derrywood again

Bryce was so helpful in directions and prompt in sending instructions all the time. The place is exactly like the pictures shown, neighborhood is very calm and its a well built community place. I would recommend anyone this place for sure and will be back here when i visit Scotland next time. Only thing to consider is there are only few local shops and restaurants but if you go on time and get what you want its great place to connect for places like Inverness and Isle of skye from there. Also please note that the check-out time is 10am not like your usual 11 or 12 noon as in hotel. However Bryce was so considerable to extend the time a bit based on our last minute request. Thanks once again

We had a lovely weekend at The Squirrels, it was the perfect setting for a get together with friends. We all slept amazingly as the beds are soo comfortable and Sarah, the host, was very helpful and responded quickly when we had questions! Would definitely be back :) thanks Sarah! X

Great stay for 4 adults and a baby, short walk (but up hill back) to town centre, great location for lots of day trip locations. Home perfect, kitchen dining living room with all amenities, wet room and seperate WC and comfortable bedrooms. Decorated lovely

We had a short but lovely stay at Julie and Spencer’s place! We felt at home right away! The place was very very clean and comfortable and close to all the attractions we wanted to see. Julie and Spencer were very helpful and responsive. The neighbours are also very friendly! The only small setback was that we were expecting bunk beds, as that was what was listed when we booked. When we arrived, there was a small double bed in its place. However, it was a minor inconvenience in the grand scope of things. We would highly recommend this place to those wanting to stay in Inverness.

Excellent stay for our hike up Ben Nevis, the house was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Clear instructions for check in and check out. Thank you so much!

We loved everything about Stephen’s place, especially the cleanliness. He had in mind the traveler and supplied everything we needed, even soap from the Highland Soap Company. Very walkable to everything we needed in the area: bus/train station 10 minutes away, grocery store nearby, restaurants on High St only 15 minutes walk. We hope it’s available for our next trip to Fort William.

We had a great stay at Inverness at Rodjana & Ann’s place! The flat looks exactly as the pictures and was clean and well-stocked. I initially had some trouble finding the key box but Rodjana & Ann were super responsive and helped me out immediately. When I discovered a broken handle on the washer and lightbulb in one of the lamps, they sent a staff to look into the problem and fixed it the next day. The beds are super comfortable and we had a fun time cooking at the kitchen. The location was also great - we could easily walk to downtown and access train station, shops and restaurants.

Perfect spot – compact, well-designed, and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, parking was convenient, and plenty of grassy areas made it easy to walk my dog. Fraser was great – clear communication and all the info upfront. Solid stay, no complaints.

We only had a short stay but the property was perfect for what we needed. Friendly, proactive instructions from host Andrew and speedy replies. Check in and out was seamless. Would certainly stay there again and would highly recommend to anyone else.

Innes is an excellent, responsive host. The apartment was very comfortable and nicely appointed. The kitchen has everything one needs for cooking. Centrally located and easily walkable to many restaurants. Grocery store right across the street. Great place to stay!

The unit itself is very tidy and perfect for a couple to enjoy Inverness. It is just four blocks from everything. There are a number of units in the building. There is plenty of parking on the street if you don’t land a spot behind the building. The only unfortunate issue is that the building has automatic door closers that close the doors like cannon shots when the less considerate tenants let them slam continuously. Hopefully the landlord can adjust them to not be so forceful in the future.
