One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in ⭐️ A unique and quirky accommodation. Luxurious and high quality interior and much thought had gone into making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The surroundings were incredibly peaceful and we enjoyed watching the local wildlife and the outdoor decked areas were amazing, especially the balcony. It’s also a bonus that it is completely private. We found Wooden Star responsive and quick to assist with any queries. We also had the pleasure of meeting Paul, the owner, a very kind and helpful person. Also worth mentioning the Queen’s Head pub, just a 20 minute walk away and served excellent food and drink at great value, we recommend a trip if you choose to stay here! We are looking forward to returning ❤️

Perfect place for a couple's get away. The gardens of the main house are open to guests and are stunning. Micheal was a great host, welcoming and happy to give advice on what to see and do. We will definitely be coming again!

We really enjoyed our recent stay. We stayed for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding locally. The place was easy to find with the helpful directions and has beautiful surroundings. We had everything we needed, and loved seeing the alpacas! Would recommend ✨

The Parlour has got to be one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. Claire’s attention to every detail was flawless. You have absolutely everything you may need for the most comfortable stay. It is spotlessly clean. We simply loved The Parlour! Claire provided great ideas for places to visit. The location is perfect to explore Northumbria with amazing walks along Hadrian’s Wall and visiting Roman ruins along the way. Thank you Claire for a most memorable stay.
