Beautiful home, very spacious and plenty of amenities. felt right at home! perfect for toddlers too. Ian was great, very helpful and easily contactable.

Our second time at the gorgeous Preston Mill Loft and it was just as wonderful as we remember. Super dog friendly, the upgraded hot tub is IMMENSE, comfy bed, welcoming hosts, beautiful scenery, well stocked kitchen. The lot. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We arrived on the Friday for a 3 night stay. The Barn is in a beautiful place inside and out. The Hot Tub was lovely on an evening and the patio fire was great to sit around for drinks early evening watching the Sun go down. Casterton village is only a couple of miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The village its self had a gorgeous pub 7 mins walk from the Barn which had a great range of food and served Sourdough pizza on Sunday evening after 1700hrs with a lovely warm atmosphere and open fires. There is a great taxi service and some fabulous restaurants near to the Barn. The Black Bull and the Highwayman were fabulous. (We did go to Number 9 also and it was not somewhere I could recommend, service and food really poor.) Patrick and Anika were great responsive hosts and this is a do not miss property, that offers every you need for a fabulous stay. Our little group loved it. Thank you Karen, Denise and Naomi

Hermitage cottage was in a beautiful situation right on the river Lune. The cottage was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the hot tub, the barbecue and the outdoor seating. We were extremely fortunate with the weather and really enjoyed our stay. Walks around the estate were lovely. It is a lovely base to explore the Forest of Bowland and surrounding areas.

Wonderfully peaceful location. Holly Toft is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We paticularly appreciated how much care was given to ensuring the hot tub was spotlessly clean and freshly filled for our arrival. Kathryn is a superb host who clearly cares a lot about her guests. The field full of adorable lambs to look out on was a delightful bonus! Highly recommend! Thank you Kathryn.

Booked for our 20th wedding anniversary and used for a base to explore Skipton and a day out in York. Close enough to Skipton to enjoy the town and the night life. The Granary was immaculate. Hot Tub amazing and already planning a second visit. The location is stunning, peaceful and we enjoyed every minute .

Beautiful place and well appointed and to a very good standard. It’s located very close to charming town of Longridge. We went to Stydd Gardens which was just 15 mins away and stunning. Very much recommended. Thank you

Lovely well equipped cottage, had everything we needed. Great location with easy access to the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Perfect for anyone who likes a bit of walking! Jonathan was very helpful and responsive, we had a great week. Would definitely go back!

Beautiful modern rustic cottage in the countryside, exactly what you want if you want peace, comfort and luxury. Emma & Gregor are amazing! Great communication and little extra treats to greet you when you arrive ! Absolutely recommend!

Great little bolt hole in the centre of Kendal. Does the job for a few nights, a couple and dog. Close to all local amenities. Furnished really well, very clean, lots of extras. Tight archway to get don with the car, we had a Tesla Y and managed it ok with folded wing mirrors 😉. Well done Gaz, top place 👍👍

We had such a beautiful stay, Sarah's property was just what we needed. We will be back again for certain. The property smelt beautiful the moment you entered the door, it is finished beautifully. The beds are comfortable. The views are magnificent. Local pubs, restaurants and amenities are welcoming and delicious.

What a find Burneside cottage was. It was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly want and more. Felt right at home from the minute we arrived. Comfortable lounge with log burner which came in handy with the cooler weather although the heating was sufficient it gave that bit extra. Gayle is a great place to base yourself to explore the Dales and surrounding areas. Absolutely beautiful. It was a short walk into Hawes of around 10mins or so where there are a couple grocery stores selling most things. We found The Wensleydale Pantry great value and the home cooked food and extensive menu was superb. The Wensleydale creamery is about a 5min walk and the cheese making experience is worth going to. We had a great stay at Hilltop, it's a lovely cottage. I was able to have breakfast outside every day of my stay which was a real luxury for me. We did some great hikes too venturing to the Borrowdale valley with its stunning views and even went down to the beach one day. Good communication with Natasha as well, would definitely reccomend.

This trip was for my birthday, and wanted to walk up Pendle Hill, fantastic location, easy to get to. The place was amazing like the photos, clean tidy, lovely smells greated you, everything you need is there, well organised, I loved the manual on the house and clear instructions. I even got a birthday card and sweets Amber the Beagle had her own treats and a mat for her bowls, so kind. The place is just down the road to the famous hill. The bath for me was the best part after sore legs even had bath salts. The hosts have really thought about everything you need for a relaxing stay and their communication is quick. You must visit this place one of the best places I've stayed so far. Thanks for hosting our little family x

We had a fantastic stay at Knott's View; the cottage was lovely, the garden a sun trap, and the surroundings were beautiful. We enjoyed lots of walks straight from the door - so many loops, including Gowbarrow Fell with amazing views of Ullswater and then back through Aira Force waterfalls late one sunny evening. The pub opposite is good for a pint and pub food, and we visited Keswick (great tapas restaurant) and Pooley Bridge too, as well as Grenridding - all 10 to 20 min drive. Chris and Ruth were really helpful throughout.

What a lovely place this is. Thank you so much David 😊 would definitely recommend this place, it's so cute. We'd also recommended local places Riverhead brewery, peel st social, zapato brewery, handmade bakery. Walks on the doorstep, canal on the doorstep too. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. Rogers bakery too but it's only open Saturdays and we missed it.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Crook a Beck Barn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. It is well equipped, with a great kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space and a large walk in shower alongside a large bath. It is in a peaceful setting with beautiful views and has all levels of walks available straight from the property. We enjoyed the extras especially the lemon drizzle cake made by Judith. We will definitely books this property again on our next visit to Patterdale.

The cottage was impeccably clean lovely furnishings very homely beautiful surroundings bed linen clean and fresh beautiful garden / dog friendly the cottage is equipped with everything you may need whilst you stay i would and have recommended to friends and family and we will be back next year !!! Beautiful place to stay !!!

Just had the cosiest stay at Triangle Cottage! Very tastefully decorated, the comfiest bed and the dreamy rolled top bath with the views made it all the more relaxing! It had everything I needed for a wee retreat with my dog in the countryside. Perfect walkable distance to the city centre and various hikes around. Strongly recommend!

Peaceful getaway tucked away from the world, fabulous bathroom without standing views from the bathtub. Spacious living room with modern appliances in kitchen.

When we arrived we were greated by Carolyn and Brian, Brian was just about to take Ruby (the dog) for a walk so Carolyn showed us around the apartment, it's a beautiful place to stay and would highly recommend it. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom/shower room is immaculate! The scenery is stunning and we managed to see the deer and a barn owl too!! We just wish we could have stayed longer!! I thought the pictures were nice when I booked but the place was beyond my expectations. It had everything you could wish for and looking out at the waterfall was just amazing. I have never seen anything quite as beautiful. The hosts were fab and were very welcoming and the surrounding countryside is just stunning. I had a wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.

This terraced cottage is located in the centre of Settle so there's easy access to shops and the Victoria Hall where we had tickets for 2 events. A parking permit is provided to park in the car park a minute's walk away. The cottage has been modernised with a sitting room/kitchen/diner and bathroom downstairs and a large bedroom with huge balcony upstairs which gets the sun for the majority of the day in summer. The cottage is spotlessly clean, the bed comfy and the towels etc of good quality. The kitchen is well provided with a range of crockery and cookware. Essentials were left for breakfast which was a lovely surprise as were a number of "treats".
