Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

Rabbit Retreat was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed for a great stay in a peaceful location. Lovely lawned area with garden furniture and the hot tub was the icing on the cake 😊. Jeanette was very helpful and responded quickly to messages. We would definitely recommend a stay here snd hope to return later this summer.

Fantastic stay at Seaspray. Richard sent very helpful instructions before we arrived, not only detailing the check in and how to find the property, but everything we could have needed to make us feel at home. The home was beautiful and we were always warm. The weather turned up for us so we were able to make use of the great location for walls and the sea. You are very close to Filey and with Scarborough and Bridlington only slightly further, so we fit in all 3. We will be coming back. Wonderful state would definitely recommend

What a beautiful place to stay. We throughly enjoyed our stay, the hosts made everything so clear for us, the house was spotless we couldn’t fault it. It was the little things like having toys for the kids to play with was amazing and the coffee machine with pods was a welcome surprise. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, thank you!

Expensive but worth every penny for our 4 generation trip. Rooms for exuberant kids and quiet rooms for 90+ years old great grand parents. Large sociable kitchen diner . Swim spa at 35c so great for the Californian kids.

The house is situated beside the river Esk under a stunning viaduct. As if that couldn't be more picturesque, steam trains run underneath on the opposite side of the river. A 30 minutes walk along the top of the viaduct (giving amazing views) lead you straight into Whitby. The town is busy and the Abbey Wharf pub which is on the river front allows children and dogs up till 9pm. The food is amazing. Whitby Abbey is expensive but totally worth visiting. It's the iconic focal point of the town and is accessed from the famous 199 steps which gives great photo opportunities! We paid the £20 for a weeks access to the pool which is a 3 minutes walk away. The pool was brilliant for the kids. The house was comfortable, but could have don't with a few minor "extras" like USB points and a drying rack for clothes, and the shower would be a struggle for anyone tall, but was otherwise a great place to stay! Recommended!

Celebrated my mums 80th birthday making memories 8 guests plus a dog. everything about the stables was perfect all on one floor spacious clean and fully equipped. The outdoor area was especially good we had lovely weather so enjoyed the hot tub and patio area. pizza shack was brilliant we were definitely useless at making pizzas!but Paul stepped in to help Big thankyou Sue and Paul made us very welcome lovely friendly couple . my dad said I quote "we backed a winner here " would highly recommend

Great host and excellent communication both prior to and on arrival day. Couldn’t ask for any more from Victoria. House is stunning with an abundance of locations to visit around you. The Bay complex is kept really clean. Ability to use swimming pool / sauna / steam room is an added bonus but busy when I visited (but was half term week). Short walk to beach but steep hill to be mindful of for anyone with disabilities. Beach is stunning also. Lovely little Beach Cafe short drive away also with excellent food / views. You won’t be disappointed if booking this accommodation.

We had a lovely stay at Dawn's house in York. It's perfectly located for the railway museum and walkable into the city centre even with a toddler. Would highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere to stay to explore York.

Harry was the perfect host ! Even though we didn’t meet Harry , We was arriving earlier so asked if we could check in early and it was no problem at all !! The house was perfect for us all including the dog clear instructions on how the heating worked and to get in the property ! Very fast at replying to any questions we had ! Perfect location as it’s only 5/10 mins to the beach/front , We have a lovely New Year’s Eve with our family there in Harry’s lovely home ! Thank you so very much Harry

A perfect spot for a family gathering ! Easy to find and just a short walk into the centre of town. We loved the space, immaculate well presented rooms, cosy warm around the Aga and comfortable shared spaces. Plenty of parking and great for our dog, and a communicative and helpful host. Couldn’t fault it, would definitely recommend!

What a beautiful place! We stayed as a family of 6 adults and 5 children, the children ranged in age from 15-3 and the house suited everyone. The kids loved the garden and the grandparents loved the places you could go for a little relax. The view from the top back bedroom is a beautiful sea view - just fabulous. The location is perfect for Runswick Bay beach and a walk along the Cleveland Way. It’s also a short drive to Sandsend and Staithes. The property is immaculate and is very well equipped for everything you might need. Highly recommended .

Great accommodation. spotlessly clean, well stocked with utensils and basic provisions , sauces, oils, chutney etc. First class food from Hotel next door.

An excellent property. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The beach is huge and lovely. Plenty of space in the house. TVs, games, DVDs provided. Comfortable beds, cupboards and chests of drawers. Large kitchen with all equipment provided. Easy walk into town and we had a great walk to the coast and lighthouse across the fields. Enjoyed a good meal at the local Thai restaurant and bought food, shoes and clothing in the town. Whitby is a great destination for trips all over the area.

Absolutely beautiful house!! EVERYTHING that you could possibly need for a few days away! We had 4 generations there to celebrate my 60th birthday and everything was perfect!! We’ve only been left a few hours and the grandchildren are asking when can we go again?? We would all love to return in the future!!

All I can say is Wow! Victor has been an incredible host when we have had to leave our property due to a leak. Extremely attentive, checked in with us to make sure everything was okay, and brought us fresh bedding after the first week. The house looks exactly like the photos, lovely and clean. Felt like a home away from home! Victor was very speedy with his responses too. Thank you so much for making a very stressful time, a lot more tolerable.

Very comfortable and spacious lounge/kitchen and two decent sized double bedrooms. Kam was very helpful and the directions were brilliant. Very handy for a night out in town as an Uber was around £5. We’ll definitely come again (provided it’s not booked up!) Thanks Kam

The Farm House is the most amazing place to stay for a large family or group! The attention to detail and the quality of the interior of the house, fixtures and fittings, are second to none. The beds were extremely comfy with gorgeous pillows. Thank you so much for the hamper of treats, it was very welcome. The location is fantastic, set in large grounds, with a lovely garden and patio area. It is so easy to get into York either by taxi or the park and ride bus (just £3) which is close by. Highly recommended!

Lovely place, great for a nights stay

We decided on the last minute to have a long weekend in York. From my initial booking request, Gaynor was super helpful and responded quickly to my messages. If you're looking for a great place to stay within walking distance to the city then Gaynor's place is THE place. I would give it more than 5 stars as it was one of the best AirBnBs we have stayed in. Gaynor has thought of everything that you could possibly need, including a teapot. If you're a tea drinker, like me, you'll appreciate how important this is. It was a real home from home with a lovely private garden. Thank you Gaynor for making our trip so relaxing. For the goodies that you left us, including the fresh milk, tea and coffee.
