Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

Lovely little place, perfect for a get away break. The hottub was great to relax in. The goats are gorgeous and so friendly. The family dog was a welcome visitor. Amazing to sit and listen to the birds and look at the beautiful scenery.

The cottage is in a lovely location overlooking beautiful countryside and only a short drive away from some great beaches. The hot tub was a fab addition to the cottage. The rooms were comfortable and we loved having a log burner. The kitchen was well equipped. Overall great value and would highly recommend it.

We had the BEST stay at Hazel Cottage. Steve was super friendly and helpful and the accommodation itself was so beautiful. It’s also so well stocked with loads of extra amenities that we took full advantage of! We will deffo be back ❤️

Had an amazing weekend at Rachael's caravan, this was our second visit and we 100% plan on coming again. Rachael is a wonderful host who is easy to contact and she takes pride in her beautiful caravan. The caravan was extremely clean, comfortable and very homely, as the weather was warm we spent most of our time outside on the decking which had plenty of seating space and the hot tub was a great added extra enjoyed mostly by the kids. There was plenty to do onsite including the swimming pool, a private dog park where you can let your doggos off lead and play. The staff at the main reception were friendly and helpful and the bar area was clean with lots food and drink options. We would highly recommend coming to stay at Serendipity and we will be visiting again.

We have just returned from a remarkable stay. The cottage is impeccably presented and the grounds are lovely. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need to make this a home from home. We would without a doubt stay here again

We booked rather last minute and Maria was very responsive and flexible. The place was pristine and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped and the furnishings throughout are great! We felt very much at home! Maria was warm and welcoming and gave us good ideas for where to eat. We truly loved our stay!

Richard was a fantastic host for our Easter family holiday. Beautiful cottage, stunning surroundings and immaculate, one of the best AirBnB places we’ve stayed and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an escape to the country. Local pub was fab and very friendly for our 6 year old.

We loved our stay at Photographer's House! Ashley was quick to let us know we could get in early and was on hand if we needed anything! He even messaged to arrange postage of some earrings that we'd left (when they were found during the clean). The house was great as was the area. Lots of different options for trips out not too far away too. Kids and adults loved it and are keen to return! Thanks for everything! We also learnt a lot about dolphins via the Dilo stories!

We really enjoyed our time at the cottage. Selena, Pete and family were really nice. We enjoyed watching the chickens and all the wildlife getting along in harmony. The river walk to York is just a stone throw away from the cottage, which meant we didn't have to use the car or public transport.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, spacious home! The house was perfect for our group—it was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. One of the biggest highlights was the location—just a short drive and walk to the wedding we were attending, which made everything so convenient. It was great to be able to get ready together in such a nice space and come back to unwind after the celebration. The host was friendly and responsive, and check-in was smooth and easy. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone attending events in the area or just looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful home.

Would highly recommend to anyone! Pauline & Graham are lovely and helpful and the apartment had everything we needed. Their woodlands are a real treat, we were lucky enough to be there with sunny weather and we were free to have a picnic whenever we wanted to, an offer we gratefully accepted - we spent a lovely sunny afternoon reading and drinking tea there. Pauline & Graham are very passionate about the woodlands, their bees and the wildlife and told us about the owls, hedgehogs, foxes that occasionally visit their property. Their gentle dog Barney is a legend and loves to be pet.

Thank you both for a lovely stay, just what was needed for our family to relax and recover. The walk you provided was absolutely fantastic and much appreciated by our 4 legged ones.

We had a wonderful few days at Justine’s house. Lovely house and amazing garden and minutes from the beach! Runswick bay and the beach area were fabulous. Brilliant for kids and everything you’d wish for on a beach holiday! We will definitely be back! Thanks 👍🏻

Absolutely wonderful stay. Vickie was very friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Perfect location to city walls and amenities. Parking no problem. House was very well presented and all you need for a stay. Nice little outside area. Peaceful considering proximity to city. WiFi works a treat. All you could need with little extras like tea coffee, and shower additions. Overall a lovely stay, we would return anytime.

A lovely little beach hut in the middle of a calm and peaceful complex. Lots to do and see locally as well as plenty of activities on site and close to beach. The beach hut was as described with lovely little touches from Rebecca. When we had a bit of a battle with the travel cot, Rebecca was so responsive and very kind and found a solution for us a short notice, even though it turned out to be user error. A fantastic first little family holiday with our 7 month old. Thank you!

Lovely stay. The only thing was the swimming pool needs modernising but the private access to the beach makes up for it. Nothing the owners can control.

fantastic apartment in a great location not too bad pub within 2 minute walk also beach not too far away either you can walk to Filey v beach in about 50 minutes or Hunmandy gap in around 25 minutes Excellent clean apartment with a tv in living room and an additional one in bedroom easy check in great kitchen and facilities would highly recommend

Lovely clean house, kitchen had everything that was needed, bathroom was spacious and clean with a nice shower and Anthony’s communication was spot on. The pool was great for the kids and it’s a short drive to surrounding areas, would highly recommend.

Lovely house on a nice complex. 5 minutes walk to bar/pool/shop and 15 minutes to a glorious beach. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 toddlers and the house was plenty big enough. The table and chairs at the back are in a real suntrap from 4 pm. The host was very responsive and helpful. Recommended

Fabulous garden and location. Beautiful view from the sun room. Great pool, perfect temperature and very comfortable bed. All round lovely clean and quiet place.
