“One of the best AirBnbs we’ve ever stayed. It was only the two of us this time but it would be perfect for two couples, with each having their own king bed and en-suite apartment at opposite ends of the house. This is a place you could stay for an extended time; all appliances available and full-size; all kitchenware for cooking up a storm; full laundry facilities. I’d love to come back in winter to see to sit and watch the view of the mountains out those wonderful windows.”
A modern and warm ground floor apartment in an executive home set amongst the native bush on the Brunner Peninsular, St Arnaud. The property has spectacular mountain views, receives all day sun and is surrounded by beautiful birdsong.
“Pip's apartment is the self contained lower level of the family home. It is extremely spacious, modern, sparkling clean, and set in attractively landscaped grounds. We appreciated the photos and art works on the walls. For us it was a perfect place to spend our last night in the South Island before driving to Picton the next morning and heading back to the North Island.”
The Woodsman's Den is a 2 bedroom guesthouse set in your own private corner of our 10 acre property. An amazingly secluded haven that looks out on lush native forest. Wake up to the cacophony of birdsong, fresh mountain air and a sense of well-being. The surrounding area sits nestled amongst the mountains and has an array of outdoor activities on offer. Or how about snuggling by the fire with a book, soaking in the hot tub or wandering down the road to one of the local eateries.
“Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at the Woodsmans Den. The location was absolutely stunning and we loved the views of the old growth forests right out the back door. B The house was pristine and was very cozy. The hot tub was a nice treat at night too. Make sure you take some time to tour the grounds as the little trails and gardens are quite fun to explore. St. Arnaud is quickly becoming one of our favorite locations in NZ, but come prepared as the local restaurants and convenient store present limited options for visitors to the area. Apart from that, Anna was a lovely host and made sure all our needs were met. We hope to be back again soon!”
