House vacation rentals in Hoogezand-Sappemeer

The house was very nice. The location right on the lake was a dream to be in. The free use of the pedal boat was also cool. I'd love to come back anytime.

Perfect place to stay if you enjoy the beautiful, quiet surroundings of the Beetsterzwaag forest. Great for a family of 4 with small children. There’s a playground across the street with an animal farm. The supermarket is within walking distance (10 min)., And you are literally around the corner from biking and walking trails. And, only 30 mins away from a city like Groningen or about 1h from the Wadden sea coast. The hosts are warm, friendly and very helpful.

We, 2 adults & 2 boys aged 7 and 11, felt comfortable directly in the accommodation. It was super clean and lovingly furnished. Everything we needed was there. Both the terrace by the house and the terrace by the water invite you to wonderfully cozy hours. In the park itself, the children could ride their scooters, jump on the trampoline, swim in the indoor pool or ride a pedal boat. Janna and Christof are great hosts who responded immediately and were friendly, helpful and accommodating at all times.

What great days we spent in this fantastic cottage. Under the stars. Location on the heath is great. In the winter, the cottage is also nice and warm. Easy parking in front of the door. Contact with owners also what nice people. Not a standard commercial experience as is the case in many Airbnb places.

My wife and I more than "enjoyed" Marieke and Jaap's place! We have every intention of coming here again! It's just fanatical and for those who just want to get away from it all and switch off and unwind, just the right thing! Kind regards Farzad and Alina

Last weekend I had an unforgettable stay with friends in a beautiful house surrounded by nature. The house was spacious and comfortable, ideal for our group. The area offered plenty of opportunities for relaxation and adventure, with beautiful walks and a visit to a charming village. It was a perfect weekend to enjoy and recharge together, and we look forward to coming back again.

Nice cottage, very clean and complete. Lots to do in the area, well worth it. Host was very helpful and quick to respond if we had a question.

This was the sweetest and most charming Airbnb hostel we've ever had. There was so much personality, so much spirit from Kitty and Erik in every room, every object, that we liked very much. Obviously flea market goers with an eye for something special - just like us! Everything very clean, with even everything on site to make a hearty first breakfast and more. The staircase up is very steep, but well secured, and even our 70-year-old joints quickly got the hang of it. We enjoyed these days very much and it was like coming home every time. We spend a wonderful weekend there with friends. The location is lovely and quiet, but close to lots of activities in the area. Perfect place to stay, we'll definitely come here again.

Beautiful Spacious Warm

Nice and spacious vacation home in a convenient place, everything well arranged. Nice atmosphere in the cottage and Lauwersoog and nature reserves nearby. Recommended!

At the Dwingelderveld National Park, there is the cottage, which is equipped with all comforts; private parking, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom and if you open the sliding door you are in the woods and you can sit in the garden and watch the squirrels and birds. Within a few minutes walking distance you are at the sheepfold. You can really escape the hustle and bustle of nature for a while

We visited the place with a group of 7 friends & family members for around 3 days. There is always something to do and it never gets boring due to the vast options of activities. We could've stayed 3 more days and would still find things to do. The Space is huge and the garden and surroundings are very nice. It looks slightly different than on the pictures but almost everything is still there and it never bothered us. The kitchen is large and very well equipped, cooking for many people never felt like a hard task at all. The sleeping situation is unique and very well described in the listing already, but should be noted. Communication was fast, easy and friendly at all times. For us this weekend at Pasjas was everything!Thank you!

Enjoying the large garden, making friends with cat Willem, looking for an egg every day with the kids, baking mud pies, jumping on the trampoline and sitting by the fire on the covered terrace in the evening. This quirky cottage is very well equipped, full of character and set in a beautiful and tranquil location. The local town of Oldberg offers a supermarket, bakery and chemist shop plus a couple of café/restaurants and the cottage is close enough to the major routes so as to offer easy access to larger settlements such as Zwolle and Heerenveen. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the property to those seeking a bit of peace and quiet in pleasant surroundings.

Maurits really is a super host. Friendly, responsive, helpful; among the very best hosts at airbnbs we've stayed. The kitchen did not have a microwave, and he bought one for us. Would stay with him anytime anywhere. Location was perfect, walk to bus stops, center of town, and both an Albert Heijn and Jumbo. The house was an authentic schipperswonig, but outfitted with an electronic lock system and heating system that was quiet and effective. Note three things to guests: (1) typical Dutch flight of stairs, but good handrail and perfectly navigable (better than most); (2) oven and mirrors at height suitable for > 180 cm tall Dutch person; (3) Groningen is a university town and current next door neighbors are students who had extremely noisy friends every Thursday night (very late); they did respond to our complaint, but needed to be told twice. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

A comfortable and nicely furnished house, with every comfort! Beautiful surroundings with good hiking trails. It was also great for the children, nice outside rabbits on the property. Highly recommendable!

What a party to stay in this sparkling clean cottage for the 4th time. This time we had radiant days and it was wonderful to be in and around the house. Westerwolde is close to our heart, and especially Sellingen, the village that forms the picture book of my youth. From the cottage, you can walk inside to the local supermarket - right through the meadows. If you like peace and nature, this is a place to stay, although we would secretly want to keep it secret. The hosts, Ria and her husband, deserve a medal for hospitality.
