It is rented to one group per day, so families, groups, couples, etc. can spend a relaxing private time. It's a 5-minute walk to the sandy beach, where you can take a walk to the sound of the waves. You can also relax and fish at sea. Spend a day overlooking the Japanese garden, where time passes slowly and you can refresh both your body and mind. There is also a dog run, so you can stay with your pet. If you'd like, you can experience making authentic Sanuki udon noodles by hand. (Fees apply, cash only on the day) Please let the staff know when you make a reservation.

Loft on top of a machiya

This is a unique loft space on top of a rare 3 floors machiya located on the central island of Kyoto. On the top floor of HASU former ryokan, we have designed an ensuite appartement with 2 rooms that are like 2 small houses. One room is located on the East side, and the other on the West side, they both have their own shower. The house was renovated in 2020 in order to offer an authentic experience in an ancient ryokan, with a contemporary comfort.
