The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Relaxing water view retreat. Our River House is located in a nature's paradise, and is an animal free property due to the owner’s and their families severe allergies. We are just 5 minutes from enjoying everything that Homosassa has to offer. We are off a canal that leads to a nature reserve and is about 3 miles to Monkey Island. Canoes are on property so you can explore the unobserved beauty of the river. Skiffs smaller than 17ft are best to dock in our canal that leads to the river.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located home. You can easily paddle your way to seven sisters springs with the kayaks on site, or bring your boat and park it at the home for your weekend stay! (Must be smaller boat no t-tops. Cook your catch on the backyard bbq or sit by the fire pit! On those rainy days sit on the back screened in patio. The home is close to old Homosassa and Crystal river. Also minutes to the suncoast parkway. Come relax and explore the nature coast!

You have the full use of the home without any other occupants. 2 bedrooms with walk in closets, 1 bath, full kitchen, dining room, living room, and laundry. Gated backyard with double entry gate. Covered parking for one with plenty of additional uncovered parking space. Sorry - not suitable for children and pets are not allowed.
