The home was exactly as expected and Brandon, the co-host, was easy to communicate with - even willing to pop over after a mishap that was our fault! We traveled with three families and really appreciated the variety of sleep accommodations, the sense of space inside and outside, and the practical/basic amenities - not over done and very suitable for our kids. We loved our stay here. It was a beautiful spot, peaceful and clean. It had everything we needed. The pull out sofa has a topper available in the closet for anyone who wants it. We used it and slept like a dream. The home was rustic with modern updates. My kids loved going for walks up and down the driveway. It has beautiful views and a cozy patio off the kitchen for morning coffee. Will stay again!

the location was a dream. right on the Ohio River, so peaceful. don't know why anyone would go to the beach, this is so much better. watching the barges, the train, the wildlife. it was a dream. so relaxing, very well needed. very close to many towns for food and other necessities. we will be back! just a heads up, this is in the wild. you will see lots of creatures (like lots of stinkbugs lol) that you may not be used to at home. part of the territory. didn't bother us, but may bother some.

I arrived in charleston WV after 1 long international flight and 2 exhausting domestic flights i was extremely tired i asked tyler if check-in can be before 3 pm and he was very fine with it , i loved the place its very quiet i felt just like home everything was just like described and the house was really clean tyler was very friendly and if you need anything from him he would text you in few minutes he got good communication skills overall i loved my stay there and would definitely try it again if i come back to visit 10/10 Stay! Highly recommended

Glorious Log Cabin Retreat with Pool

Beautiful and peaceful place to spend quality time with my family. The cabin was very clean and had everything needed to hang out, cook, play games, and enjoy swimming. Love the porch! We spent almost all of our time on it. There was a grocery just 20 minutes away in Pomeroy that had any essentials you may want or need, including Mothman potato chips.😀 If you are looking to go and do something, I recommend the 45 minute trip to Point Pleasant to visit the Mothman museum. Be sure to watch the Mothman Prophecies the night before. It adds to the thrill. There is also a beautiful park by the river with great history. The town has quaint and unique shops. Overall, it was a wonderful relaxing stay!
