Chalet vacation rentals in Hochkar

We wanted a quiet, secluded place to relax and detox - and we got it with this great cabin. The cabin is at least 150 years old, but has everything you need to live. Cozy beds, hot water, a stove heater and even recently electric light from a solar system, but nothing more. No electricity, no cell phone reception - but plenty of peace and wood to chop - wonderful. We arrived in the middle of the night with plenty of snow and minus degrees, so the heating and the first night were already a challenge. The oven is also suitable for baking rolls, which tasted excellent. Thanks to the host for putting up with our seven hours of delay without any problems. Clear recommendation.

The house as described Great location, amazing views. The ski resort is very small, as there is also little snow . The slopes at the hotel were snowy, so the ski school could take place. The other elevator didn't work. You can drive to the neighboring Lachtal. Otherwise, everything is small and clear, especially for children who are good for skiers for the first time. In the village you can buy the essentials, very expensive! Better to bring everything. There was no cabin, you were on / on the slopes as parents and watched.

Very satisfied again as last year. The house was a bit smaller this time but wonderful for 2 people. There's nothing wrong with it. The house is as shown in the description and pictures. Cleanliness 1a, also included in amenities is everything you need for your everyday needs. Unfortunately, the weather did not play along during our stay. It was thaws all the time, it didn't snow until the departure day. All in all highly recommended, for a winter holiday as a couple or a family.

The house was very nice, and the kitchen quite well equipped. Only the cutlery and cups number was a bit low for larger groups. Somewhat tedious were the hidden costs discovered by reading the description. In any case, the accommodation was worth its price, despite these extra costs, which could easily have been disclosed in the total price. The bedding can optionally be rented at €8 per person. Unfortunately, it was automatically assumed that all people sleep together in double beds instead of providing bedding for the existing beds (e.g. the sofa bed and the bunk bed). Otherwise, the place was great, the photos keep what they promise. There was even a sauna! 😃

The service from Almdorf was great, a big thank you to the reception. We were very warmly welcomed and they answered all our questions. It was a nice stay through and through.

Nicole was very friendly and easily accessible when writing. Unfortunately, we couldn't get to know them personally. The cabin is really cozy, the tiled stove is completely homely and the basic amenities such as detergent, sponge, dishwasher tabs, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, toilet paper, dressings, shower gel, shampoo was perfectly available - this is very rare! There is also a dishwasher, but it does not wash properly clean. Would recommend the hut to you! :)

Amazing and serene stay! Would stay again!

We stayed at this villa for a few days. The service was great. Friendly, helpful, and always available. The villa was very cozyly decorated and clean. The area is really very beautiful. The kids had fun and the older ones were able to relax well. Unfortunately, the toboggan run or elevator was out of service and there was no other way to climb the hill with the sleds every time. Still, it didn't spoil our mood. Clear recommendation. Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful time at Judith and Mario's place. The historic chalet is very well maintained, super equipped and in a heavenly location. We were spoiled every morning with a wonderful breakfast that nothing was missing. All organic, and especially the beautiful colorful eggs from the farm's own chickens were great. Everything was lovingly packed and prepared and you can tell that the two do everything with a lot of passion. A special highlight for us was also that we were able to get to know the goats that are lovingly kept in the farm. We would have preferred to spend the whole day in the stable if the sauna had not been called. All in all we had fantastic holidays, and will definitely come back to the little paradise. ❤️

The weekend was definitely nice. Beautiful house, beautiful view, beautiful surroundings, incl. Tauerncards. What we liked very well about and in the house is simply the location, the panorama, the layout of living and sleeping area, which is very well divided by the floors and thus everyone could have their peace or even their fun upstairs. The equipment of the house itself is also perfect and has a feel-good factor. Things that affect the cleaning team were very well resolved as part of the host's possibilities, overall it was small things that did not greatly affect our stay.

We've spent 3 nights with a group of friends and everything was amazing. The sauna and whirlpool is great, the kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom and shower are clean, there was wood to make fires, potable water, a fridge, and everything else you could wish for. The surroundings are also beautiful and are very well suited for various hikes or runs. Additionally, the owners are very responsive and super easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing trip out in nature with lots of privacy.

Amazing charlet overlooking the mountains. The house was exactly like described; very cleen, plenty of room and a completely equipped kitchen that makes it easy to cook all sorts of meals. Christian is a great host that is very helpfull before and after the visit. Very recommendable.

We were there for the AirPower event. Unfortunately a little longer away by car, but ideal for overnight and sleeping. Everything is available, some things could be modernized, but that doesn't detract from the feel-good factor.

The stay was very nice. The location is very quiet and the surroundings are beautiful. Check-in was easy and easy. Everything you need is available on site and the welcome gift sweetened the start of our vacation. We felt very comfortable the whole time. Our highlight was the hot tub, especially when the weather is good at night. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and always available. Clearly recommended especially if you like the cozy country house style in a beautiful setting with modern features.

Great place and we loved it

Fantastic mountain house with a beautiful view. Completely private, the entire hillside belongs to the house. The house is equipped with everything, the kitchen was well equipped, and there is also a washing machine, a dishwasher and a sauna. Communication with the owner was easy, we received all information in advance! Dog-friendly place with great hiking opportunities in the area! I can absolutely recommend it, we will definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at this chalet. We were really surprised by how spacious it was, and we especially appreciated the variety of spaces where everyone could find their space. Everything was clean, the beds were super comfortable and we could not get enough of the view.

The place is just gorgeous. We spent a weekend in the house and enjoyed it to the fullest. Everything you need is there and you don't need anything. The sauna with the natural kingdom , as well as the wine cellar were our absolute highlight as well as the beautiful terrace with a fantastic view. The hosts are super friendly accommodating people and were super quick to reach. We will be back, thanks for the wonderful time ☺️
