Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hiroshima

A lovely, unique house, very comfortable and charming. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but easily accessible (the nearest JR station is only a 5-minute walk away). It was a perfect starting point for our trip to Miyajima. Communication with the hosts was always easy and pleasant. We would love to come here again.

Very good location and nice apartment

I was traveling with my infant so I needed somewhere that has a kitchen for me to cook baby food. This place got everything that a family needs and I had a good stay. The only drawback was that there was no elevator though it was stated clearly in description already. At last the flat is big, clean, and tidy. It is highly recommended for family travel.

The place was nice and conveniently close to Hiroshima Station, with plenty of food options nearby. While the building is old, the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The only negative aspect was that one of the rooms lacked a heater, making it really cold. Overall, it's a good place to stay if the heating issue is resolved.

my family loved Shoji's place. 5 minutes from the dome, and 3 minutes from the nearest tram station. everything is accessible and easily navigable. the space is large enough for us to fit all of our luggage and his beds were awesome! loved every bit of our stay.

I live overseas, but I used it when I returned to Japan temporarily with my children. The room was larger and cleaner than I expected, and it was equipped with a microwave and washing machine, so I had a comfortable stay. I was planning to stay in a hotel at first, but this was much better than staying in an expensive hotel. The location is very close to the Atomic Bomb Dome and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, and the tram station is also close, so you can easily go to Miyajima and Hiroshima Station, and it is convenient for sightseeing, and there is also a convenience store nearby, so it is a very good location. The host was very kind, and responded as soon as I sent a message, and was quick to respond to Wi-Fi problems. I will use it again the next time I return home.

We were able to reach it on foot from Hiroshima Station. From the outside of the building, you can feel the times, and until I entered, I was a little nervous, thinking, "Is it different from the photos...", but when I opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean interior.There is no elevator, and there are stairs up to the 4th floor.We didn't have much luggage, so it was fine, but it might be a little difficult with a lot of luggage. I was impressed by the comfortable bed.The bedding and linens were clean, and it was very nice. I don't know because I don't use the washing machine or kitchen. If I had to say, I was concerned about the dust on the shelves and in the corners of the room, but I don't think it's a big problem considering the price. I didn't feel any problems with noise or anything. I'd like to stay again when I go to Hiroshima.

Well worth the money and a great location! We arrived around midnight and had trouble with the lock but masaji was quick to respond! Very walkable spot and comfy beds.

This place is lovely, clean as is everything in Japan, compact and efficient, as everywhere in Japan. It is within a short walking distance from the train station. Really ideal. DO write BLUEHOUSE when you google map. The house is an appartment building. It is blue but you will not see bluehouse written on the outside. Trust that this is it. Once you are in it, it is just as described. We would return to this place. The host (a person? a computer? does not matter which) was quick to respond and very helpful. Warning: in the USA, and other countries, the price is usually the same whether you book for one, two, or more people. I was careless in mentioning how many of us would be coming (2 instead of 1). In this place (or in Japan perhaps) it did matter. Nonetheless, the extra fee was minimal (but why was it there? Wash 2 towels instead of one?) still worth it

Shoji’s place was exactly as it was described. About 5 min walk to Atomic bomb dome, 10 min from shopping & dinning area, and a minute away from the nearest street car station. The communication was prompt, self check-in was super easy, and the place is very clean and well equipped. Absolutely enjoyed our 2 days in Hiroshima and the place is highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Ryu’s home. They arranged to drive our suitcases to the home while Ryu’s father showed us the walking route. Everything was explained to us and lots of local recommendations available in a binder. Great location in between heading into Hiroshima/peace park and Miyajima Island. We had an amazing time at both. Lots of restaurants and a big mall close to Ryu’s. Beautiful home and super responsive host. Thank you Ryu!

I was a single traveler and their place was really beautiful, Small, comfortable, and in such a great spot for exploring Hiroshima. Centered right in the middle, next to the bomb dome. There are many restaurants located super close and a convenience store right around the corner. Excellent place! would highly recommend!!

I had a wonderful time during my stay at Hiro and Kei's place. The place was clean and as described in the listing. The location was great as it was walkable to transit, restaurants, and many attractions. Hiro and Kei were very responsive and provided helpful local recommendations.

A great apartment- very spacious. Perfect location- close to Peace Park, lovely walks and restaurants and shopping.
