The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake area, bustling with activity in the summer and has a great middle class. The flower garden(butterfly garden)of the cottage offers a lot of privacy and is located right under the corn mill ,t Lam. Come here relaxed with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the girls, blackbirds and sparrows.(sometimes Sunday of the church bells). Also in July 2026, the 18th edition of the Stavoren fishing days will be held nearby. The exact dates are not yet known. It is a unique opportunity to experience these events, but they do cause noise pollution. Those looking for peace and quiet should choose a different period. The Hanzekop team.

Lovely apartment with 2 bedrooms. All to yourself. At the back a spacious garden room with fireplace and in addition a private garden. The garden room can be heated with the fireplace . In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Lovely apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!

Two bedrooms, one mezzazine, sleeps 6 people. Please note the mezzazine has a steep ladder. We prefer to host families or people with reviews. 30 minute drive to Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Zaandam. Closer are Edam, Volendam and Marken.

Lovely house near Makkum and Wadden Sea

Just over the Afsluitdijk in the middle of the Frisian meadow you stay in a wonderful holiday home with nice kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to cook for a long time. Inside or outside! The garden is a wonderful place for children to play and you can enjoy the setting sun until late. Our house is near the beach of Makkum, forests, lakes and several Frisian "eleven cities".
