Carol's cottage was everything we expected, the cottage is in the centre of the village within a few minutes walk of pubs and a great fish and chip shop and other shops are very close by. We would highly recommend this host.

I had such a lovely 3 months stay at Laura and Geoffrey’s home. The family were so welcoming, kind and responsive to any issues. The little home had everything I needed for a perfect stay; it was beautiful, modern, comfortable and quiet. The surroundings were picturesque too. I highly recommend, thank you so much for such a brilliant stay!

Lovely cottage with stunning walks in the surrounding Peaks straight from the door.

A lovely, cosy little annexe which is perfect for a couples or solo travellers. The annexe is clean, warm and very well equipped with loads of books, magazines and CDs at your disposal. Alison had left a very thoughtful welcome pack which was much appreciated and meant we didn't have to dash out for milk and butter (there was loads more in it, but I won't list the items in case Alison wants to change it in the future). The bed was comfy, the bedroom warm, the shower (which is in the bedroom) very powerful. We took our anxious rescue dog and she settled in immediately. There was even a dog bed, bowl, treats and towels in case we'd forgotten anything. Litton is a lovely little village with beautiful walks from your doorstep - just cross the road and you're in fields immediately. There's a well-stocked village shop which serves great cakes. Just a short walk to Tideswell for more shops and amenities, and the excellent Cherry Tree for takeaway cobs.
